I stayed at Rafiki's and did a day tour of a Maasai Village and Chemka Springs. Alfred is incredibly friendly and organised my personalised tour very quickly. The staff here are always willing to help and make you feel at home at all times.

Booked Rafiki for the price but received so much more!. Rafiki is clean and Alfred and his staff are so friendly - I felt safe and looked after. While there, booked 2 day tours through Viva Africa tours via Alfred to Materuni Falls and Coffee farm and another day trip in Arusha park. ended up on the 4 Day safari and was so pleased - guide was fabulour - saw all Big 5 plus a ton more and the chef was great. Equipment was top notch. I would so book here again!

Rafiki is a very nice, clean and inexpensive place to stay in Moshi. We were only there for a couple nights but it was one of the best places we stayed in Tanzania. There is a really good restaurant right across the road that has a great atmosphere, food and drinks.

Furthermore, the owner, Alfred, is an awesome guy who was very accommodating, took us on a tour of a coffee plantation and to some waterfalls, and also provided several rides around Moshi for us. He even came out partying with us!

We could not have had a better time at rafiki!

The Rafiki Backpackers is the best place to stay! It is located about 15 minutes walk from the center of Moshi, in a safe and quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay and Alfred is an amazing guy! He supported us whenever we needed help, information or any other kind of support. We really felt "home far away from home" and "more than welcome". Alfred made things possible as he has a working network to organize all kind of trips you'd like to do.
The C-Africa bar just on the opposite of the hostel is a great place too. We enjoyed the BBQ, music and the atmosphere!
When you're thinking of going to Moshi you have to stay at this place!

This hostel was so homely and friendly - one of my favourite that I have stayed in! The owner Alfred was so fantastic, really looked after us and helped us out with anything we wanted to do, including providing loads of taxis. The breakfasts are delicious and very cheap and the atmosphere was really fun. Will be returning for sure!

Rafiki backpackers is about 5 minutes drive from Moshi town its a nice peaceful and pocket friendly place to stay. Alfred and Freya give you a warm welcome and you really feel at home. Entertainment at C-africa just opposite Rafiki is wonderful with delicious meals, drinks and music. I recommend this place especially to those who plan to climb Kilimanjaro and any safari in northern Tanzania

Rafiki backpackers was very nice! Alfred was an amazing host and made it more like a home then anything. He also makes it very easy to organize any sort of trip you would want to do in Tanzania, let alone the whole of east Africa. Its in a very nice area and just across the road is C Africa which is perfect for a quiet dinner, or start to a big night! And if you want to save some money, Alfred can cook a mean barbeque! I highly suggest staying here if you want to make the most of your trip!
