Love to drink my capuchino or fresh juice at the Coffee shop and meet my friends at the front or in the garden. Nice small lunch dishes.

Thank Wilmama

This place has the best garden out back with large couches to sit on and the service is friendly and usually on top of things. It's a great place to come lounge for a few hours (though Internet often doesn't work very well - be warned!).

I will say that the coffee here is not very good. I usually have to get a cappuccino to mask the taste of their bad coffee.

If you're looking for breakfast, they have two great packages that are good options - something like a farmer's breakfast (eggs, toast, sausage, coffee & juice) and a more healthy option (yogurt, granola, banana, coffee & juice).

The bulletin board in the hallway is the best place in town to look for other people going on safari, renting or selling houses or cars, and advertising all kinds of other things.

A good place for lunch or dinner. Mostly foreigners here, and in the entrance is a notice-board for safaris and daytrips. Next to the café is a very nice souvenir shop, however its only open in the afternoons. The coffee shop has nice food, try their spaghetti ratatouille which is excellent. The cakes are not that good, but if you still want one go for the carrot cake. Expensive compared to local places, but cheap anyway.

A very popular place for local expats and visitors to have a leisurely morning coffee or for lunch. The small garden is cozy and clean with shade. The menu is surprisingly broad and the food quite tasty and a bit unusual (e.g. bacon and avocado sandwich or ratatouille crepe). The prices are quite reasonable and the service good. The shop is an outreach of St. Margaret's Anglican parish. Wireless is available for a small fee.

The things I love about The Coffee Shop are many. This is one of the oldest Coffee Shops in Moshi that caters to travelers and locals. It is charming with both indoor and outdoor seating. Located in downtown Moshi, this shop is convenient to everything. The menu is quite varied though there are specials each day and often they run out of some items on the menu. The staff are very friendly. Service is not quick, but has improved over the years. Depending on what you order, the food is very good. My favorite things are the sandwiches with brown bread and the smoothies, but quiches, omelettes and fish are good and now there are special local African dish days. There are all kinds of good coffees One thing that distinguishes The Coffee Shop from other restaurants is that the profits of the shop go to support St. Margaret's Anglican Church and its outreach programs.
The downside of The Coffee Shop is that it is a "hangout" for young short-term volunteers who seem to spend the day there. But for those who do, that is an upside. The Coffee Shop staff are very warm and embracing. Another good thing is that the message boards are loaded with information for travel, events coming up and things for sale. Check it out!!!
