A nice small hotel in a good location, not too crowded but not too far from the crowd.
The room with no ac has a bad air circulation. the opening for ventilation is only a small one (about 80cm by 10cm) above the door. The fixed glasses beside the door should be open able.
It was good to have an evening tea at the outdoor dining with a peaceful sound of the river.
the staff was good and friendly. The room was clean.

We arrived at the hotel only to find that our reservation was not to be found. After about an hour of haggling with the reception we were able to secure one night. The staff was very polite and cordial. In hindsight we should have left and looked for something more reasonably priced. The hotel room was clean but very basic and very overpriced - approximately about $100 for a double. The breakfast was quite mediocre, the coffee was awful. We were happy to leave and go to a more reasonably priced accommodation.

The hotel has some nice wood decoration a nice small garden and overlooks the river,
Good clean rooms.
Brekfast is fine but i missed vegetables.
Our room on the 3rd floor and on the street was not too noisy.
The hotel is centrally located yet on a smaller street. There are many different restaurants around

The hotel was booked by our guide and was suitable, it had a small, high speed fan but no ac. The restaurant wad very good, excellent breakfast and a great menu for dinner, very tasty. Wifi was only available in the lobby. Do not use hotel laundry, mega expensive, simply turn right out of hotel, then right at first street and very cheap and great service laundry around the corner.

the hotel was booked by our guide:
- the room were nice and spacious.
- the bathroom was large
- the air cond is ok
- however the shower had smal flow of water with the pressure going up and down.
it is not unbearable but i guess for some it might be an issue.
for instance for those who wish to you wash long hair..
- the breakfast was just ok
a buffer with local food, bread, 1 or 2 bakery style, juice, egg station.
- there is a pool overseeing the river. i have not seen anyone in it but it looked nice.
- the staff was very friendly. some were trying hard to speak french. it is always a pleasant attention
- you can walk around rantepao from here
- there is a "military" jeep decorated with guns, etc.. outside the hotel. it is fun to see but i really wonder why is it here..

Room Tip: there is no lift, so if you have trouble with stairs, ask for a room on the ground floor

This hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Tana Toraja and Rantepao.
This makes it great as a base for exploring Toraja Land.

The Check In was quite slow, and the room rather basic.
No aircon but there was supposed to be a fan. Unfortunately it did not work.
This meant open windows at night and plenty of mosquitos. I would definitely recommend insect repellent !

The hotel also caters to large tour groups, you can expect to be able to follow their group dynamics very closely as most rooms face the courtyard.

The breakfast buffet offered a sufficient variety of dishes, restaurant food in the evening was a bit bland.

Very slow internet was available in the lobby at times.

If I was to visit Toraja again, I might return, but only with a better room facing the river.

Room Tip: If you want to avoid the noise of fellow travelers and Karaoke, try to get a room facing the river.

Avoid this place if at all possible. We chose this terribly overpriced hotel seeking a quiet and relaxing night. At 22:00 they started a Karaoke Show in the lobby, right next to our indoor balcony, so we could not sleep until 1:00am. Hotel staff does not speak any english at all so my complaints were totally ignored. Bathroom was so filthy we had to clean the toilet with desinfection wipes. instead of picking me up in the city upon my arrival, they sent some aggressive 'tour guide' who wanted to harrass us into booking him for 80€/day. We could not use the pool because personnel was staring at my girlfriend as if she was some piece of meat.
Instead of staying a second night, we rather chose to sleep on the bus to Makassar. Avoid this place or rather stay in the cheapest guesthouse you can find. Worst experience in all of Asia.
