A stay here puts you in New Bagan area and quite a fair bit away from the rest of the other places. Overall very nice surroundings with landscapes and gardens. Relatively quiet although you will hear rumblings of your neighbor when you are placed with a connecting room. Nice touch of providing tea time / evening snacks every evening e.g. chocolate cake, sweets etc
Understand this place is new i.e. less than 1 year old and built to keep up with the throngs of tourists filling into Mynamar & Bagan. Some "newly opened" problems are to be expected for e.g. they were not ready to deal with 15 hungry breakfast diners at one go (some of us didn't get our food in the end), inconsistent wifi (almost true for all of Myanmar), slight design flaws in their chalets (some bathrooms were flooding and had a distinct drainage smell if you don't keep the fans on for the night), spa only available at designated spa hut (inexperienced Thai masseuse which adopted Burmese approach with some Thai stretching elements to the massage), and last but not least, similar obsession with new mint US dollar notes for payment. I didn't like very much having to close the shutters for the windows every day (can be as many as 6 shutters for 1 room) due to privacy concerns but some may find less bothersome.More
