Go here and you won't be disappointed. Very nice fresh dishes and a kind owner who can tell you anything about Bagan.

The hotel is really nice. The lobby is beautiful, nice area for relaxing and also the pool is a perfect place to have breakfast. The room is nicely decorated, bathroom a bit outdated. Very nice staff and the spa/massages are really relaxing after your sightseeing trip climbing up the pagodas. Stay in Bagan at least for 2 full days, it is so beautiful! One of the purest places to visit on this planet. If you want to go out for dinner, the best places is the restaurant just around the corner. When the local people are there, they start the local puppet play with false music. Sit back and enjoy, the music is sooo false but will finish after half an hour. Talk to the owner, he is so kind and does anything to make your night enjoyable.

Positives: very lovely setting, very large, clean, modern rooms, friendly staff, nice pool area
Things that could be improved: bath room was not to the same standard than the rest of the hotel, water in pool was not treated therefore green.
Despite the two points mentioned for improvement, I gave the Hotel the best rating due to his overall appearance and the friendliness of the staff. Stay there, you will like it.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location by the ancient Gate and many of the famous temples. I was concerned about some reviews saying the pool was not clean. It was delightful when we stayed there, warm water and certainly clean. The perfume from the frangipani trees surrounding the pool adds to the bliss of swimming there after a morning of temple hopping. Ask for a room near the pool if the weather is very hot as it can be in Bagan at this time of year.

The whole hotel is fumigated twice a week, Monday and Thursday, and the rooms receive a spray from a can nightly at turn down, and we didn't see one mosquito! Flowers on the bed etc add a nice tropical touch.

Horse and carts are at the front gate and the local people really do need our tourist dollar. A few local style restaurants also just outside the hotel for authentic local meals and cold beers. Much cheaper than the hotel of course.

Service in the hotel was good. They will arrange everything you want. The only thing not perfect was possibly the spa, which was ok. A facial and a massage cost $80.

Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience in Amazing Bagan. It sure is!

Room Tip: Ask for near the pool as it is a very large garden complex.

We stayed here for 4 nights and arrived from the boat from Mandalay a little tired. We had turned up on the first night of the festival at the nearby Ananda Pagoda.
Unbelivable, so many people but so good an experience, we were given earplugs by the reception as the music went on all through the night, which wasn't what we had planned for but it did make it amazing.
Good rooms, good breakfast, excellent staff. Brilliant
