I love the ambience of this place-----very peaceful. Food is good, place is well maintained. I love the English tea sets they use to serve tea. Royal Albert collection, made in England! Im impressed!

“The same routine all the time”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

Been going to Sonia's for many years. Sadly it's always the same:

Plenty of very fresh and very good salad with a good dressing;
Unlimited bread (quite good) with dips (generally the same for the last 8-9 years);
Unlimited pasta with the same sauces for the last 8-9 years;
Same desert;
Same tea;
Same Dalandan juice.

The only change they made was to add some salmon (so so...) and some chicken (so so too...)

Overall the place is good and as it is an "eat all you can" type of formula, you get pretty good value for your money.

Generally very average....

“Great food, nice place but....”
Reviewed 10 July 2013

Had lunch with my family last June 25. Food was great especially the salad. The dressing is to die for! Place is quite nice though they could have put some more air conditioning units as it's quite hot inside a greenhouse-turned-restaurant during the summer months. Value-wise, it's a little bit over-the-top considering that you'll only be having salad, pasta, salmon and some desserts. And the price is different during weekends, mind you. However, if you consider the tranquility of the place (as compared to the well-crowded Vikings) and the home-grown healthy organic food , it's money well-spent.

“Food, glorious food”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

The freshly picked vegetables and the salad dressing are to die for. The bread is tasty, and the dalandan juice is refreshing. Actually, everything we ate that day is amazing! And the ambiance is just romantic, perfect for a wedding reception. The restaurant area is filled with greens, and the entire place is an exciting garden waiting to be explored. They sell seedlings and some organic products. I will always go back given the chance despite it being a bit far from the city center.

“Say Healthy!”
Reviewed 26 June 2013 via mobile

We've visited Sonya's garden many times now and their unlimited salad offering never fail to satisfy us. Their fresh garden salad are literally fresh, handpicked from their gardens and served clean. Their secret garden sauce is unique, we've been looking for something similar to the sauce taste in the market but we cannot find one. Lastly, their bread! Its so soft and yummy. Best served when hot. Overall, we love Sonya's. Everytime we have some foreign friends come over to visit, we never forget to bring them to Sonya's and they also like the experience. ;)
