Stayed here with my girlfriend for the weekend. We did not have reservation but just walked-in and tried if there were vacant rooms. We were lucky to get one even though it has no view. check-in was quick and easy.

The room was spacious enough. You don't feel crowded but doesn't wow you with space. Service was fast and the people were very courteous. Though the area near the pool might just get slippery when there are people swimming. The lobby is just right beside the pool. There were amenities that you can use like pool, game room, gym. IT was quite amazing how a small hotel can offer so much.

The down-side I had was the breakfast buffet. They serve their breakfast from 6-10AM and we just arrived around 8AM in the morning. A lot of the food on the buffet was already gone even the omelet station took a while to replenish. I observed that the other guests were complaining with how slow the food takes to be replenished even though most of the selection were just fried items and the typical Filipino breakfast food. If they can improve this, maybe we can go back.

Overall, the hotel was great. decent location and fair price, great for family with kids. Though if they can only improve the breakfast buffet, then maybe we can go back again.

Hotel was accessible and rooms were clean. Staff were courteous and accommodating. Function room was big enough for business meetings although there were limited power outlets. Food was good, especially their clam chowder. Check in went on smoothly and the room was ready immediately.Would recommend it for business meetings for those who want to go somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of Manila.

Room Tip: Choose a room with the view of the Taal volcano if you want some picture taking.

We knew immediately when we arrived that everything would be disastrous. The pool was dirty, the garden was not as big as it looked on photos., rooms were terribly small for its price, and only two complimentary water bottles for a room paid for 4 people. We got 2 rooms for two nights one for the kids and another for mom and dad. BreAkfast was okay but not really good since most was cold and the milk was served from the carton. The ambience was not nice at all since it served at the half lit ballroom which i think was cleaned months ago because of the evident dust and smell of the carpets. Now that is not the worst part. We had 2 room, mom and dad requested to have their room cleaned but we didnt want anyone going into our rooms since we were really messy kids and our pasalubong from abroad were still scattered. We went out for lunch and lo and behold when we got back b.oth rooms were cleaned. I was impressed at first then it started sinking in, someone was in there without our permission. They cleaned the bed and took out the trash, well one trash bin was not emptied out to our disappointment. I complained to the front desk and they said they would coordinate with housekeeping and would get back to us. When they did they explained that it was hotel policy that the rooms will be cleaned when the guest went out. I got furious since i knew it was crap, i didnt even request for the room to be made up. There are buttons near the door for make up room and do not disturb. None of those were pressed in our room. They just kept n saying it was hotel policy which was bull and we no longer felt safe since as per the manager it would seem like anyone of the staff can come into our room when the do not disturb sign was not lit. Which was stupid. So we were waiting for feedback and none of them ever came to us again. No apologies whatsoever after the talk which was very rude and dso unbecoming of a manager. They just looked at us and kept their heads down or ran off to the other direction when they saw us. This is the crappiest place to stay ever. We will never be back nor will we recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were looking for a place to stay with a nice view so I looked at the reviews of this hotel and found them to be mostly good. I booked my reservation thru the phone with a girl named Mica. She was courteous and was patient to answer my queries. She even gave me a 20% discount. Anyways upon arrival check-in went smooth. We were informed breakfast buffet was at 6-10am. We got the superior room with partial lake/pool view which was nice. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Bathroom tiles had a bit of some mildew. Toilets do not have a bidet.

Anyways, the next day we got up and we were excited for the buffet breakfast. We came in at about past 9am only to find that the buffet was almost empty. This is the first time I had ever checked in a hotel with an empty buffet table to greet my morning! We saw a couple of people who came in to have breakfast but only to find themselves with almost nothing to choose from. I called the attention of the supervisor and he told me they stop replenishing the buffet by 9:30 but it looked like the food has long been gone even before that as there were ants already on the plate of the corned beef (which was supposed to be in a food warmer by the way. The remaining 2 tablespoons of corned beef had solidifying grease on it.) Their hotcakes are as thick as bread. Not to mention it took us a minimum of three times to ask for our water, lumpia sauce and the supervisor himself. They made an effort to make health shakes but the containers were all empty by this time. ALL hotels I have been to have overflowing food even by the time it had to be taken out to make way for lunch. Even if the buffet were replenished, the food selections are really not all good. Here's what it mostly consists of: Soup, lumpia (Filipino spring rolls), bread and some fruits. The saving grace was the scrambled eggs station, but even that- they scrimped on our choice of toppings. We HAD to pack up and head to another place to have brunch.

Loved the location! Very easy access to a host of eating places and activities for children. The "Skyranch" which has rides and fun for kids was so close by and they had horseriding for children and adults until 7pm which was brilliant! Our hotel was overlooking the sea which was fantastic! Rooms are a decent size and my child loved the single bed in the room - very cosy! The bathroom was awesome! - big size shower with a fantastic shower stream and an added bonus was the bath that my child loved too. Very clean hotel in a great location! The fridge/mini bar isn't really a mini bar as it nothing in it and the fridge wasn't cold at all - we requested a change of fridge but that didn't really work either so our milk products went off. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tagaytay and will return once again - the weather was great whilse we visited even though on a few days it was quite difficult to see the view.
