We rarely come to Tagayatay, but when we do we always come here for a bite. This time visited with the whole family. They love the food taste, presentation and the servings as well. Kids was in love with the ice cream. Price was quite on the high side but this is to be expected. Have lots of new dishes also that were not there last year. So let's see what they will have for the next visit. As we came on the weekend it took time for us to be seated and food to be served, bu then again its vacation time, cannot really complain much!

We went to Antonio's to celebrate my parent's anniversary. First, we loved the place. It was very quiet and has very nice ambiance. Service was really great they assisted us fron thw time we arrived until we left. The food was reqlly good. We specially enjoyed our food specially the angus steak. It was really really good and I recommend it. Price for the food was a bit high but Inthink this is worthit. We really enjoyed the place and will definitely be back.

Visited this overrated place for the first time and was very disappointed. Amidst all the rave about this place , i didn’t enjoy it at all. Came here for a wedding reception and happened to be a stormy day starting from the church all the way to the reception. The cocktails were served at one location. It was across the main dining venue . Stood there maybe for an hour or so. There was a roof by the driveway but the area outside was getting quite wet. Inside was dry but i found the place to be very dark. Beautiful but could have used better lighting. Cocktails were served and a few snacks. It was nothing exceptional.

When it was time for dinner, the rain was now a total downpour and the only way to get across to the main dining venue was to walk across. We had to use umbrellas to try and keep dry but with e heavy down pour, our long gowns and high heels it was quite a challenge to do so. There were also two flights of stairs aside from having to walk through puddles. I was thinking of the more senior people who would be in danger of slipping .

For a restaurant that caters to events all the time, you would think they would at least invest in maybe temporary onnings or temporary roofs to be able to allow people to cross from one area to the other without getting wet. They seem very ill prepared for situations like this. This was a stormy week heading up to tje event , they should have been more prepared .

The entire main dining area was full of tables and guests each in round tables. Another problem they have is , there are only two toilet stalls one for men and one for women and when big events like this are hosted this is simply not enough. The lines to the toilets were always long to the point that women were already using the mens stall.

The dinner was served and again they seemed ill prepared. There was an awfully long wait in between courses and more than a few times, the waiters served a course twice. Because the service was so bad and it took forever for our whole dinner to be served we were eating some courses twice, the waiters didn’t even have a clue this was happening. By the time dinner was over it was 11 pm. That is a long wait to think that this was an afternoon wedding and we got the cocktail area pretty early . The service was the most horrible i have seen in any wedding.

Overall this was such a bad experience. You would think that a restaurant that is recommended like this would try to make the improvements they need in order to better their service and venue.

In all fairness the food was delicious but took way too long to be served.

I would never recommend this venue , especially during rainy months. Maybe its more beautiful when the weather is better, but nevertheless.

Thank Claudia H

Everything from the ambiance to the food is perfect. We were greeted promptly and it didn't take long before we were seated. The servers were polite and quick to attend to our needs. Although some items are pricey, the servings are large enough my friends and I had to share. You have to order the Akaroa Salmon Tartare with Lumpfish Caviar. And don't miss out on the ice cream selection. Try the Panna with Olive oil and salt, it is a new sensation you'll come back for. If you have someone special, or if you want a royal experience - visit Antonio's!

A long time favorite place to eat. Must have reservations, but the food is good and soup, salad and dessert included. Good wine list and good coffee!
