If your looking for friendly hospitality and a quiet place to get away from city life this is the place. Close to a pineapple plantation and just off the main road is where you will find your perfect stop. Also as a bonus your can ask for a breakfast served hot for a very small payment. My wife and I have visited here more then one time and plan to return again.

Room Tip: All rooms are very clean and beds changed daily on request.

This accommodation lies just off a road along which there is an abundance of local fruit and flower stalls full of friendly locals. There are also two markets nearby. It's located some distance from the town centre but the is plenty of local transport (jeepneys and tricycles) available.
The room was spacious and had a tv, and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the area or how to get around.
Good value for money.

We went to Tagaytay with no plans and no hotel bookings. We decided to just go where are feet will lead us. When we arrived at Tagaytay centro, we asked for direction where we could ride a jeepney going to Ulat, because we wanted to stay at Ulat Haven Hotel. But instead the tricycle driver brought us to this place. It was getting late and when we checked out the rooms, it was spacious. Not bad for P1,500.00. It has an inclusive breakfast of Longanisa, Sunny Side Up Egg, plain rice and 3 in 1 coffee (to be delivered at 7am at your room). There was a flat screen tv with cable. One queen size bed. A study table and chair. Complimentary toiletries in a basket. The toilet and bath was neat. So we decided to stay here. But since we were at the ground floor, there were no over looking view of Taal Volcano or any hill or mountains. In short, no great view. I recommend this for over night stay and for those who does not like looking out at the windows. The place is also hard to find since when we went out to grab a bite we needed to walk uphill for us to be able to get to the highway. When we came back we got lost. The tricycle drivers did not know the place. It has a poor signage beside the road. The good thing was, it was far from the highway so you can expect silence all night long from vehicles passing by. Overall, our stay was good, not a bad find for someone who does not have any plans or any prior hotel bookings.

I chose Jessar because I thought that being away from the hustle and bustle would afford me the quiet I need for sleep.

Indeed, I did rest OK but it was only because there were not many guests at that time.

The room I had was on the ground floor. Rooms on this floor were arranged along both sides of a long corridor, one end of which held the reception area that faced the main door.

At night the night staff would play music or chat with friends in this area to help pass time. Unfortunately, as the flooring is not made of noise absorbing material (e.g. carpet), the sounds filtered down the corridor into my room.

Other than this, the staff was very helpful, and always at the ready to meet our requests.

Every time we go to tagaytay, we always choose to stay in jessar apartelle because of its homey feel. The rooms are simple but big and clean, free toiletries are given, along with free breakfast. I also like the free wifi it offers. They have a secure parking space.

Room Tip: Choose rooms on the second floor, it has good network signal. There is no signal for globe, smart, o...
