“Wonderful place to know the culture”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

We didn't know much about the area. Discovered that approximately 90% of the people hardly understood or spoke Spanish.

“Ride the Boats, Town is Average”
Reviewed 25 February 2014

The boat ride in Sumidero Canyon was fantastic. I would highly recommend the trip to everyone. The town of Chiapa de Corzo is clean, they sell a few crafts, but it's an average town.

“if you don´t have enough time you can miss it”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

it is a very little place whith a monument in the middle of town that is the only thing that it is worthy to visit, so if you don´t have enough time, you can miss the place and you will not regret it

“Don't Plan on Spending Much Time Here”
Reviewed 15 January 2014

You go through this town when you go to the Canyon del Sumidero. There is not much to do or see. Park here, head to the canyon and then head on to eat somewhere else.
