“Best Resturant in Sosua”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

We just returned from Sosua. Our daughter was married at the Casa Marina and we had our wedding dinner at the Casa Valeria. Arien and his staff went out of there way to make a very special dinner for 22 of us. The meal was very very good and made our daughters wedding day perfect. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a perfect meal while in Sosua. Thank you Arien and staff.

“Amazing Restaurant !!!!!”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

We just returned from our vacation in Sousa, and the Casa Valeria was one of the highlights of our trip. We arranged to have our wedding dinner at Casa Valeria, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff and the food were INCREDIBLE. The staff and the owner went out of there way to ensure we had the best service and meal possible. They created a buffet specifically for our group, and even decorated the restaurant for us. The food was so amazing that several of us went back for dinner another evening. The second time at the restaurant I had the escargot and the calamari. They were two of the best dishes I have ever eaten. I had the chicken cordon bleu for dinner...honestly the best I have ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the crust on the chicken was to die for. The service was again above expectations. Not only is the food and the service above and beyond, but the prices are so affordable as well. I HIGHLY recommend the Casa Valeria to anyone who is traveling to Sousa.

“an oasis of calm in a busy town”

This charming restaurant is a great place to dine. The food is good with generous portions. Perhaps the dessert could have been better but the friendly staff made up for that. We took our own wine, which made the meal very good value.

“the most incredible fish in foil”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

I tried this dish in Paris, at a well rated restaurant, and it was a disappointment. I never knew it could be prepared so well. And the banana crepes for breakfast!!...Very good mangu (mashed green plantain, Dominican style). Definitely not the usual tasteless hotel restaurant fare, but rather the opposite.
