We stayed here in December 2011 over new year for a week to finish off our travels around India.

I would definitely recommend this resort. It has a lot of space and you feel very relaxed here. There are lots of hammocks to sun bathe in and it's right on the beach!

There is a large pool to relax around but if you can I can thoroughly recommend a private pool villa as you get your own little pool to relax around and closet yourselves away.

The spa is fantastic and the ladies who do the treatments are welcoming and friendly.

The food is sensational and some of the best we have had in India. The new year's even feast had to be seen to be believed, there was literally every type of meat, fish and seafood and the fireworks and show at midnight were fabulous!

It is immaculately clean and well kept.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Room Tip: Get a private pool villa!

was there last week.
it is an amazingly big property with lovely garden pool villas.
however, the planning could have allotted space near the pool and restaurant area for some of these villas which could have been kept for senior citizens and handicapped persons.
at present these villas are at the other end and the walk is decently long and especially at night after dinner it feels more so.
excepting this, the staff is impeccable, polite and friendly especially Miss. Sangeeta in the restaurant who was simply fantastic
mr. kijin in spice village resturant too was simply great..
in all cgh earth properties you will find the above flaw in designing and also the absence of room service, wifi in the rooms and tv add on to the discomfiture in these hotels which otherwise are exceptional.
i wish keeping in tune with today's times the above adjustments should be made in keeping with their eco friendly theme.
the buffets are to die for....muaah.
overall a beautiful experience in GOD'S own country.

Room Tip: would recommend these cgh earth properties in kerala any day. the best !!!!

I stayed with my family for 1 day as a part of out batch get- together. One thing you notice is the cleanliness of the rooms.. The thatched houses looks good. Good heated pool is another plus point. The beach is clean but the sea was rough during our stay so, couldn't get into the water.

Dear Guest

Greetings from" Marari Beach"

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback. We are very happy to know that you had a nice time with us. Lot of our guests do appreciate us for the thatched roofing as it is not seen these days.It is very heartening for us to encourage the skilled labours behind the thatching as it is getting extinct.

We once again thank you for your appreciation and also we look forward to welcome you back for a longer holiday.

What a wonderful place. Beautiful palm thatched reception area, restaurants and bar. Each of the 70 or so bungalows is detached and also thatched and have a hight degree of privacy. Bedrooms are huge with a good sized seating area. Bathroom is out of this world with half of it open to the sky. Very effective air con and also a fan. The aircon stays on even when the electricity is switched of by removing the room key. We visited in low season but all amenities were open and all staff in place. Portion sizes are huge which is what we have found in all the places we have stayed in India. Buffet breakfast had a wonderful selection of food all was fresh.
The private beach is clean and there are numerous sunloungers and hammocks close by. Swimming pool huge and very warm with 40 sun loungers round the clean pool. Evening entertainment during dinner was not overly loud and was very pleasant. The chef, waiters and one girl each sung a song during the evening. There are lovely grounds to walk through which are well maintained and the trees and bushes are labelled as to what they are.
It is not a shining 5 star marble place it is more eco friendly. It is very clean and looks to be efficiently run. Lovely place for a quiet honeymoon or relaxing holiday. We loved it and would like to go back.

It is a different kind of stay with cottages spread over a large area. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean The beach is only a few minutes walk with the private area fairly well guarded and clean. The staff are very courteous, pleasant and always go out of their way to be helpful with a grand smile. This aspect is outstanding. The food is very good and the breakfast spread is large and tasty.
All aspects are eco friendly and implemented in full. The swimming pool is large and a good swim is always on the cards. The place is very rustic at sometimes felt to be too much so, with no TVs in the rooms nor news papers. However the overall experience was really great and we will not think twice to got on another holiday there again.

Room Tip: If you like to walk take any cottage otherwise get one close to the restaurant and reception.
