“Great Location, poor maintenance”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

The perfect location for a quiet holiday, but they only have a shuttle service in the evenings, so if you want to reach any shops you have to pay 600TBaht each way. Beautiful rooms and view but sadly the housekeeping needs serious attention. Breakfast wasn't very good and very few of the staff can speak English. Make sure to take your own snacks and drinks if you do not want to end up with a high bill.

This is a very quiet resort located away from the touristy Ao Nang beach and Krabi town. There is pretty much nothing to do around here other than lazing by the pool and the beach. The sunset here is awesome. They also have longtail boats on the sea waiting to take you to the Hong Island trip for 1700 Baht. The food in the restaurant is slightly on the expensive side (1000 baht or more for 2 persons) but there is no other choice if you don't have food stocked up. You could easily buy frozen food at 7-11 and stock it up in the room in case you want to grab a quick bite. A ride to Krabi town and back would cost around 1600 Baht while a ride to Au Nang beach and back would cost around 1200 Baht. If you get the taxis on your own and not go through the hotel, it would probably be slightly cheaper (by 10% perhaps). The staff have limited English vocabulary but they will be able to understand you if you speak slow enough. Overall this is "chillax" resort. Food in the restaurant and buffet can definitely be improved!

Room Tip: Get a room near the beach if you can. Its probably worth the slight premium. The jacuzzi deluxe room...

One of the most beautiful view you could get while in Krabi , Thailand . The hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful , and rooms are very clean and stylish . We got the one bedroom villa with spa bath over looking the ocean which was worth every penny . The restaurant in open air terrace serving great breakfast buffet . We rent a car and visit Ao Nang beach which offers all great restaurant , shops and much more , Definitely try to get body massage , it is great value !

Room Tip: Try to eat in local resturants as they are cheaper and offers great food . Also make sure to pack yo...

We have stayed at this hotel on two occasions now and we will be staying again next time we are in Thailand. The staff are fantastic, the service is great, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the facilities are superb, the food is wonderful, we would especially like to thank the manager Khun Suchada and the owner Khun jeed for making our stay so special.

Booked this place last minute as all the other 3 places on Tubkaek were full.
Great for people who aint fussed about anything at all. But if you are looking for clean, super attentive service... hafta look elsewhere.
it's more of a locally run place? not that they are rude, but they speak very limited english.
However, still kind to offer to extend their services whenever possible if u can communicate with them. Sue, the manager was very sweet and also kudos to 3 other staff there (2 from reception & 1 gentleman helping us with luggages).
The houseflies on fruits/veg unfortunately is very true.... food quality is so so.... ironically we did better at cooking class ourselves....or hop to next door for lunch/dinner.

if all you want is an excellent beach, and u dun really care about the rest of the world, Anyavee is not a bad choice given the price point.

Room Tip: Sea-facing Jacuzzi Villa on the ground flr is great, but not entirely facing the sea.....more like p...

The resort is located in a very quiet area. There are a handful of other resorts on the beach, but no city, village or shops nearby. Perfect if you want just to relax. The beach is OK, but not good for swimming at low tide.

The resort itself if poorly maintained. The grounds are NOT kept tidy. The buildings need paint here and there. It appears that no one is doing the small repairs that obviously are needed on a daily basis. The result is that a lot of small defects have accumulated and it looks old and worn. The lack attentions to the grounds are also reflected on the beach, where garbage are lying around (unlike the resort to the immediate left and right) Example: one the day of arrival, there was an empty potato chips bag on a lounge chair at the pool. This empty bag was still on the same lounge chair when we checked out five days later. We even saw staff passing the bag several times per day without removing it. This was very symptomatic.

The staff seemed friendly enough, but not very well trained (except the staff cleaning the rooms – they were very efficient!) Restaurants staff were sitting and eating in the restaurant. There were meetings amongst staff and managers daily in the restaurant – even though there were guests dining.

Breakfast was horrible. With a few exceptions the staff looked like they just rolled out of bed and onto their stations. I still do not know what looked more unhygienic – the buffet or the staff. Dairy products were not cooled, the selection of food was scarce and of low quality. Bread was uneatable.

The menu and the food at the restaurants were mediocre. It was – however – VERY expensive! We ate there just one time and then headed to Ao Nang (30 mins in car) the remaining four evenings.

So, to the good part :) Rooms were nice, big and clean. Housekeeping did a GREAT job!

In general I would consider the hotel “not good” and “low value for money” Suitable for the more mature backpacker. I will be very surprised if this place can be turned around as the management (I have a feeling it is family owned and managed) appeared pretty useless (sorry, but that is my honest opinion)

Rooms are worthy of a 4-star hotel, but the rest is 2-star (at best)
