Not sure whether it s a Krabi trait but service generally in Krabi is below par compared to the rest of Thailand. This restaurant's service standard is slightly better than some of the rest here. Though the restaurant states that the operating hours are till 10:30pm, the staff were in a hurry to close the restaurant even though it was only 10pm!
The lax standards extends to the food. Though the signboard state "Fine Thai Cuisine" - in truth it is far from that. The dishes are alright but I suspect they have been watered down to cater for western palates. The curries and prawns are the standouts here and I was surprised they could accommodate a special request - goong chae nam pla - or raw prawns in Thai style.
Ambience is nice and the restaurant is sufficiently large so there's adequate space.
