“Wonderful stay!”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

I stayed at The Elements for six nights in January 2014 with my family. It was wonderful. The garden and the pool was really nice, and breakfast was good too. The only con was the location, although it also was nice to be "alone", with no other hotels close to it. We went to Ao Nang for a couple of times, and it always felt relaxing to come back to this calm hotel.

With the sea on one side and a dense forest on the other, the element resort is based at a very scenic location. The place is very very calm. They have an amazing restaurant. Everything about the place is nice.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel in April. It hotel is beautiful, the gardens are kept very well and the rooms are extremely clean and well looked after. Its a little bit out of town but the hotel put on a free shuttle bus so its easy to get in and out. We really enjoyed our stay.

Couple of negatives, the beach across the road isn't really a sunbathing beach, more industrial and the swimming pool at the hotel turns any white swim suites green!

We got married down the road from The Elements and asked this hotel to put on a BBQ the night before the wedding. The did a fantastic job and everyone loved it. The setting in the garden was beautiful and the food was fantastic. Most if our wedding guests stayed at the hotel and had a lovely time, no complaints. If I could say one thing it is maybe to stick up better on the beer as the run out for 2 nights. Overall it was perfect so thank you

Stayed 3 nights at the resort. The resort is really big and beautiful. The service is excellent, i mentioned in the email while making arrangements for airport transfers that this will be my honeymoon trip. The receptionists checked my email upon arrival and told their staff to prepare my room with honeymoon decorations and gave me a complimentary cake. The staff will also bring u tour around the resort while explaining the facilities they provide. Everyone is friendly and polite there. The room is really spacious and clean. They have everything u need in a 5 star hotel. They provide shuttle services to ao nang 2 times a day so there's no need of renting a car. But the resort is located quite far from crowded places. Not a problem for my husband and I as we wanted a good and relaxing place out of town. Food in the resort is also good. But breakfast is so-so only. They have bicycles where u can cycle for free. I would definitely recommend people to come here.

Overall resort is ok but I can not say I would be happy to return there. Staff is doing their best to serve you well, especially Justin and two more girls from reception, who were positively mentioned many times in TripAdvisor. But the rest of the staff doesn't speak English well and can not assist you promptly and efficiently. Rooms are spacious but a bit dusty, it seems that housekeeping cleans it superficially. Swimming pool works until 7 pm only. I don't believe it's a good idea since hotel doesn't have a good beach. SPA experience was not bad but outsource staff doesn't perform famous Thai hospitality.

What made me really happy in this resort - food!!! It was extremely delicious, it was really high-quality Thai food that gives us a nice memory about the stay. The price range of meals 200-350 THB.

There is no taxi available around the hotel. When you ask the reception to call a taxi they offer hotel's transportation that is comfortable of course but a bit pricey. The cost of transfer to Ao Nang is 600 THB, transfer to Krabi Town will cost 800 THB, all given prices are per one way only.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the third floor with a sea view, rooms with direct access to the pool are always in...

I'll start the review by saying its far away from the main parts including ao nang. If riding a bike to get anywhere or riding a tuk tuk doesn't sound appealing this isn't the hotel for you!
Elements was an amazing experience. The front desk (Justin and bee?) were very nice. Showed us to out room and offered to have a bellboy take up our luggage. We did a bungalow which was so spacious. The room had a huge Cali king bed, jacuzzi tub, rain shower, deck and of course mini bar stocked with every type of alcohol. The room even had umbrellas, mouthwash, bath foam, any little detail you might need. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to ao nang and krabi town. With a hotel this great why only 4 stars? The restaurant is horrible!! The breakfast buffet is pretty good but we learned get up early (like before 9) if you want to eat. When things are emptied they don't refill it. One day all I are was toast because everything else was gone and the staff just milled around not doing much. Despite the other reviews we decided to try the dinner, bad idea. We went around 9 pm and there was a table of 4 seated right before us but besides that it was completely empty. We ordered an Alfredo type pasta, curry and a beef. It took an hour for us to get our food and during that hour no one checked on us or acknowledged the delay. Horrible food, horrible service.

I highly recommend this hotel just eat somewhere else :)
