All reviews are the same, but all the buggy excursions are not. Do this one. Cheaper and better. More personalized and a full day of fun.

What to take: water-proof camera, a hat, sunblock, a dry bag, and towels.
Good for families with children from 8 - 10 years old.

I will do this ever time I get within 50 miles.

“A blast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 February 2014

This tour is a must see and do!!! The owner and tour operator is from Belgium and speaks 5 different languages. He is very knowledgeable about the R.D. (Republica Domincana). I learned so much, and had a wonderful time! I definitely recommend this tour. The views in the countryside are amazing.

The tour include trips to the country home, horse ranch (you don't have to ride a horse if you don't want to), stop for lunch (will have to walk a little bit - not very wheelchair accessible as there are some short steep hills), visit to a rural school, swim or walk in the Macao (public) beach, and mini tours of cigar making and chocolate - delicious. The tour starts and stops at his business, which is also his home. I think we paid $110 per person for an all day trip! There were 10 people on this tour. Perfect size.

You do have to climb in and out of the buggies - no doors. The driver needs to be able to drive a manual transmission. The buggies can fit up to 4 people comfortably. Should your engine stall or something fails, there is a mechanic driving with the tour group at all times. He is there in a blink of an eye if anything happens. So don't sweat it :).

Had a GREAT time on the trip today. It was an all-day ordeal, but it went very quickly. Your tour guide speaks 5 languages and is very knowledgable. This is the tour to take to see the real Dominican. The cigar and chocolate factories were interesting as well. The authentic Dominican meal was amazing as well. I would do this tour again.

“Good Times at Fun Buggy!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 January 2014

Went on a trip in November to the Dominican Republic and had a blast. I have to give Kurt credit, we had a pretty rambunctions group and he was a patient man. Loved the local store he brought us to and the beach was great too. My lady had too much fun a the chocolate factory trying all their shots. Only thing I would have liked more is if there was a bit more off roading. Most of the driving is done on paved roads.
