Pastrata is amazing! The food is impeccable and the presentation of each course, whether it is appetizer or a FRESHLY prepared to order entrée, by the chef and proprietor , Ernan. Ernan's staff is very attentive and can't do enough to please the guests. Our usual waiter, Toapuin, goes above and beyond any expectation.
The 2lb Lobster is amazing and freshly caught for less than $30 US! The Bolonese Pasta is the best we've tried anywhere. The Ceviche is so fresh and perfect in every way!
We could eat there every night and have been several times for a fabulous experience!!
Please do yourself a favor during your vacation and visit Pastrata!!! We are Americans, who just moved to Punta Cana for the Island Life and Pastrata is better upscale, fine dining type food than you will find in the 5 star restaurants in the states, but in a beautiful relaxing atmosphere where Ernan, the chef, and proprietor will make you feel like a queen and king and come out to meet each patron personally!
