I've given this place a try twice already and it is definitely a big fat NO.
First time, ordered a risotto that supposedly had cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. I got plain green rice, nothing more. When I asked the waiter what was going on, he simply said they were "out of some ingredients". We simply paid for our drinks and left.

Second time we ordered just dessert. The menu said there was Nutella or dulce de leche crepe, flan de leche and tiramisu. Waiter says "we only got dulce de leche crepe and ONE flan de leche" . We go for two crepes and those were truly disgusting. If those had been fed to Gordon Ramsey he would have puked them right then and there. The reason? The so called crepes were at least one week past their "use by" date. Tasted horrible, kinda like mold.
one more thing, they keep the a/c to a minimum (I honestly think they don't even bother to turn it on, otherwise, why keep the door open?) in the Caribbean summer scorching heat, and the door open letting a bunch of flies in and sit on the silverware and glasses. The place also smells like kitchen grease, must be that they don't even use the air filters in the kitchen.
These people really need to get their act together, so far, it seems like the owner doesn't give a damn and God only knows why this place stays open when it's usually empty. ...

There is a "food court" area in Palma Real Shopping village in Bavaro if you could even call it that. There are literally only two places to get a cup of coffee and sit down for a moment, Ragazzi is one of them. Ragazzi is the best of the two locations (La Enoteca Wine Bar being the second) but beware...

Ragazzi is a perfect example of typical shenanigans here on the island that one should be aware of. If you order a "cafe con leche" or a coffee with a bit of milk, be sure you're going to get a cup of scalding milk with a "hint" of improperly pulled espresso. You'll easily pay $3-$4 USD for a "shot" of watered down espresso and this scalding milk in an effort to simply enjoy a "normal" coffee.

I use this coffee example as a guage for the rest of the service. Sometimes it is good, other times it is so deplorable the best course of action is simply to not swallow.

Ask for a coffee?? Forget about it. Ask for consistency? Forget About it. Expecting great value? In keeping with Dominican new tradition - look elsewhere.
