Went here for our 25th anniversary. Our arrival was late due to plane delays, arrived around 9:30 pm, Nisbet rep Omel met us at the airport, making us feel welcome. Arrived at Nisbet where the Manager Jamie and staff greeted us, got us signed in while we sipped on Rum Punch. The setting is large lawns with palm trees, the rooms/Garden Suites spotted at intervals throughout. So the first impression was very pleasant.
The Staff are wonderful, after the first day or two they knew us by name and were always very nice, helpful. The whole experiance was very relaxing, swimming. sunbathing. great food and much more.
Special thanks go to Rosalyn ( evening dinner ), Patterson, Winston, Violet, Angela, Curtis, who are wonderful. Thankyou all. Also to Calvin the cab driver we always tried to get, what a gentleman.
A big thankyou also, to the Nevisian People, all we met ( and we met many ) all were very nice, helpful.
If you are looking for a true getaway, Nisbet Plantation is the place. We are looking forward to returning.

We have just returned from our first visit to Nisbet Plantation on Nevis and based on the previous reviews on Trip Advisor it is everything that it says it is. We would like to thank Jamie Holmes and all his staff (too many to mention) for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. The Nevisians and the island of Nevis should be held up as an example of what a holiday in the Caribbean is all about. The quiet relaxed pace of life, the courtesy and friendship and the beautiful island itself all make for a wonderful experience. It is not a holiday for late night parties but for re-charging your batteries and having a more sedate and slower pace of life. The high percentage of repeat customers returning to Nisbet year upon year show that this place is very special.

We have spent time on quite a few Caribbean Islands and this is the best island and hotel by far. We hope to return in the very near future.

Recently returned to Nisbet for vacation. Perfect resort for relaxation along with a great staff, great service and great food. Always greeted by a friendly face... Angela, Violet, Melissa at breakfast to Allison at the beach bar to Patterson and Roslyn at dinner. Can't wait to return!

My husband & I wanted a romantic, intimate, beautiful place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Nisbet Plantation was all these things and more. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent time there. We stayed in a upper premire suite. The location was excellent. What a view! Food was 5 star. The weather was beautiful. We indulged ourselves by getting the romance/honeymoon package. And also chose to use the personal water taxi only 6 minutes to Nevis instead of 1 hour on the public ferry. Swimming was great. And you can do as much or a little as you like. We have wonderful memories and lots of pictures. The plantation exceeded our expectations which were high. We would go there again.

We visited Nisbet Plantation as an experiment 2 years ago, and what we found was a truly special place, run by people who really want their guests to feel at home, and be pampered with excellent food, comfortable accommodation, and the quietness of the coconut palms swaying in the breeze with the gentle roar of the waves breaking on the nearby reef. The volcano (extinct) provides a panoramic back-view, which sets off the whole island, which itself is stunningly beautiful.

Both my wife and I have jobs at home involving long hours, and the ability to come to Nevis is the perfect antidote to our work. So we came back again this November to the same friendly relaxing sanctuary, and weren't disappointed.

If there is a downside, it's the 8 hours flight to Antigua (and THAT departure lounge...), combined with the uncertainties about the LIAT connecting flight to Nevis. But the reward outstrips the stress of travelling there by far.

Will we come back ? That's a no-brainer !
