Thank you for the biscuits.
In general almost everything we needed was here, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable.
Confused about the towels as it says Towels provided.
Good Location minutes from shop and pub.
Dog walking you can go along the front each way, Johnshaven made up of little streets and connecting alley ways for different walks or get away from the sea breeze...
Check shop notice board for Mobile Fish and Chip van!
Good communication from the owner
A lovely cottage, perfect for a stay in the East of Scotland, especially if you are looking for a relaxing break. Johnshaven is lovely, Anchor restaurant brilliant and the locals are really friendly. It was easy to park by the harbor which was close to the cottage.
Lovely, well-equipped cottage and patio in a peaceful village. All you need for a perfect family holiday! Very kind and helpful owner, nice neighbours. Shop and really good restaurant nearby. We would love to come again.
The cottage was comfortable, quiet and well positioned - its proximity to the shop and two pubs was a distinct advantage. The owner was helpful and quick to respond to messages.
We stayed here for 5 nights and cannot recommend it highly enough. Beautifully furnished, absolutely spotless and very well stocked - it was a real home from home and had a real ‘welcoming’ feel to the place. There’s a lovely garden too. We liked it so much we’ve already rebooked!
We stayed for a long weekend, the cottage was spotless, warm and faultless on arrival. It’s situaled in the centre of Johnshaven on a quite street with easy parking, yet just minutes from the harbour, local shop and bar/restaurant. There is plenty to do in and around the surrounding area. Had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.
My wife and out 15 yo son found this cottage excellent, very well equipped, clean and modern but homely. Nathalie was quick to reply to my correspondence, we never needed any help from the neighbour, Alan, but it was comforting to know we had that if needed.
Highly recommended, Johnshaven is a really peaceful harbour and close to St Cyrus, where a humpback whale was feeding at high tides.
Scenic routes along Dee and Don side start in Aberdeen along with lots more to see. We will be back!
