We stopped for lunch here having noticed it when we drove through the village previously. The staff were very friendly and there is a good selection of beer according to my husband! We settled for a light lunch, which was served quickly. The food was good and there was plenty of it. It was a nice day and the pub was very busy, but everyone got served. Considering the location, it is a very popular pub. We will be going back.

Ok, I'm not a big eater so my friend and I opted for the start and pudding combination. It was just right and so very delicious I wanted more. A lovely friendly place, attentive staff, comfortable, would recommend 100% and will most definitely revist

Went for dinner here on a Saturday night with a friend. I booked a table, staff were friendly and helpful.

Food was very nice, service was slow but on this occasion it was fine for us but bear in mind if you're in a hurry.

There is a garden but it's in shade afternoon onwards.

Overall a very nice pub and restaurant. Seems the bar area is dog friendly too which is nice.

One of my favourite places to take my mother to eat. Eating in or out is a nice experience the service is friendly and efficient . The menu is varied from baked whole fish to ploughman's with fantastic cheese selection and chunky bread. Roasts are served on Sundays and I think that the roast here is probably the best I have ever had my mother loves it! 5 different vegetables all al dente were served with the crispy roast potatoes and nicely cooked meat not too rare and plenty of it . A place to take hubby, kids or Gran .
