This is a great place to experience a local Bulgarian tavern in Bansko. The building is an old house and is decorated in the traditional Bansko village style. Service is very good and the food excellent.
Mehana Valevitsata is located within a short walking distance of the cabin lift's first station, Valevitsata Tavern welcomes its guests in the Bulgarian style and mountain hospitality Bansko is so famous for. Below you can see the reconstructed "valyavitsa" welcoming each guest to the tavern, enchanting everyone with its authenticity. It was made as a replica of the nearby "valyavitsa" - one of Banko's sightseeing attractions.
Every night from 19:00 onwards performers of the Nevrokop Folklore Ensemble - Gotse Delchev will sing and dance for you.
