“Basic budget hotel”
Reviewed 16 May 2014

The best part about the hotel was that it was very close to the Petra entrance. Otherwise, the hotel is very basic, with small, worn-out rooms. Our bathroom had a nasty sewage odor. We had booked through Agoda a double room, but we mistakenly chose occupancy by 1 person. When we arrived to the hotel they made us pay the rack rate difference (+$20) for the second person to stay, even though we had booked a double room, and online the price difference between occupancy by 1 or 2 people was minimal. So this is a sign that the front desk staff was not at all accommodating to our mistake and used the opportunity to price gouge us.

The hotel was in a good location to see Petra. Parking was not an issue but it was off street. The breakfast buffet was so so and the dinner buffet was better than the breakfast buffet but the service was good and friendly. The furniture overall was covered in dust so could use alittle cleaning! Good value (25 JD) for one night 3* hotel but if you plan to stay longer than one night, i would consider staying elsewhere.

Great location for Petra but a small room with a tiny shower (so small that you can't help flood the bathroom!) The food however was very good. We also checked out the rooftop terrace but beware the wine is very expensive and isn't the best (but possibly a thing across Jordan as they aren't exactly renowned for their wine!)

Location: PERFECT!!!!! 2 minutes walking from the Visitor's Center which is where you purchase your tickets to enter the park (Petra).

Hotel: Free internet with great connection, very clean, friendly staff, room service and water at great price.

Overall: I would most definitely recommend. AMAZING Value and it is really nice in general. I was alone and felt very safe and facilities very clean, hotel staff friendly and helpful... very good experience. I will most definitely stay there again next time in Petra.

We stayed 1 night realizing that most of our time in the area was to see the sights at Petra & Wadi Rum, just sleeping at the hotel. Good value for clean, comfortable room. We had breakfast & dinner at the hotel. The food was average, but the views from the dining room and the rooftop terrace were very nice.
This hotel offers a reasonably priced accommodation with a great location.

Very nice hotel 5 min walk from main entrance to Petra. Large and well decorated lobby leaves you a possibility to meet people or relax outside your room. The reception desk is reliable and discret. Also the dinning room (breakfast room in the morning) is vast with a view of the mountains. Rooms are simple but clean , with good large beds. Only some windows are very narrow but it's ok to spend a night there. Quiet

We chose this hotel primarily because of its location and it does not dissapoint on that front, it is located just 2 minutes walk from the Petra entrance. The location is also central to the local market area so there are quite a few options to eat and wander around looking for souvernirs.

The room was ok, we had to as for fresh linen and towels and the bathroom was not the cleanest. But you need to consider that this is a budget hotel with possibly the best location. It was very cold in Petra when we visited, it had snowed a couple of days ago but our room was fairly warm and comfortable.

The breakfast was average, i think they normally provide a breakfast buffet but as the hotel was not very busy they served us breakfast on the table. The breakfast area is very nice and provides great views of the hills around.

The staff is very helpful as well
