Stayed here for two nights as part of a ten night trip to Jordan. Really excellent. Perfect setting. Easy to find with Patricia's directions. Had an evening meal on one night which was the best meal we had in Jordan. Patricia and Eid are perfect hosts. We got lots of information and tips from them, which made our stay so much better. Excellent value. Really cannot say enough about it. They really deserve their No ! spot on Trip Advisor

We stayed for one night this past July and found Patricia to be very helpful in providing tips & insights- which we follow to the "t". The breakfast was simple but adequate, and so was the room. Unfortunately, we were not able to sleep well due to the heat. At some points we contemplated sleeping outside since it was much cooler! If we had arrived earlier, we would have discussed this with Patricia but it was too late to get fans, etc. We are sure that with this equipment you can sleep much better. We loved the location - up in the hill - part of the community and only a 5 minute drive from Petra. On our way there, we asked around, and the neighbors couldn't be nicer!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're happy you enjoyed your stay with us. I'm sorry to hear there was no fan in your room, there should definitely have been one, it makes sleeping a lot more comfortable indeed.

We stayed at Petra B&B for 2 nights. This is a lovely typical jordanian house tastefully decorated in a combination of european and local styles. It is all very very clean, breakfast is amasing and more than enough (we couldn't eat all that was served!), and Patricia is just so helpful and lovely.
After spending 12 hours in Petra, we really appreciated the cleanness and relax of this accommodation. Just a tip: because it is kept quiet in the town of Wadi Musa, taxi drivers tend to not know about this B&B. Do ask Patricia to talk to them on the phone for directions or show them the printed directions that she'll give you.
Patricia, it was great to stay at your home!

We didn't stay here (although it looked absolutely lovely) but instead went riding for 3 hours with Patricia. She was an excellent host and really hospitable. The horses were excellent, easy to ride even for novices. Both Patricia and Eid are great horse people. They had hard hats available and the tack was well looked after and safe, as were the horses.
The ride itself was amazing with great views looking down over Petra and Wadi Musa.

Patricia & Eid went above and beyond everything for our little group of family and friends that visited at the end of March 2013. First of all, Patricia is extremely efficient and helpful with all enquiries, and was able to accommodate us by 'making a plan' even though we changed our minds at least twice before arriving with just days to go!

The help and guidance given to us on visiting Petra was perfect, with little 'local' tidbits of information which meant we maximised our time here. We were recommended to 'test' the local guides on their English before embarking on a guided tour and every suggestion they made was brilliant (including where to eat each evening).

In particular, there were a couple of incidents which showed how wonderful this couple are. Firstly, one of our party lost the keys to the room which, even after turning over every rock in the garden, we still weren't able to find. Patricia waved it off in good nature and even though she had to go out of her way to make a duplicate for us, she was really so good about it and we insisted on giving her some money for it, even though she really didn't want us to pay.

Secondly - our car broke down on the very morning we had to make tracks to Wadi Rum. We had all intentions of getting on the road early to meet my Dad and the battery was completely dead! Eid was only too quick to jump out of bed and call his brother who was with us in an instant. After much time and energy trying to get the battery charged, they managed to contact a mechanic who was over in a jiffy and using rather unsafe looking wires he got us back on the road! Eid and Patricia had a family wedding that same morning so they were really so kind to delay their own plans to make sure we got off okay. They even investigated ways of us getting to Wadi Rum on public transport and perhaps picking up the car later - such stars!

Breakfast was delicious, and very much inline with the flavours of the local cuisine. We felt like this lovely bed and breakfast was our home and not least, that Patricia and Eid were part of the family (or we were part of theirs!).

In short - I highly recommend this lovely property as a base to explore Petra and Wadi Musa. Thanks again both of you!

Room Tip: The rooms are each unique and one is big enough to accommodate a whole family which is incredibly go...

The petra B&B is positioned high on the hill overlooking petra and all its madness so after a full day's hiking it's the perfect place to relax and rest up. You'll need to after petra. Patricia is a lovely host and so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Her Bedouin garden is a delight and if you like horses there are two to gaze at as their stables are right next to the seating area. She also does horse riding tours. Breakfast is a delight of fresh dates, local bread and fruit. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The best time was evening when you can stand and watch over all the lights and listen to the sounds of ptra. This has to be the best place to stay in Petra. You'll need a car to get up the hill. But I bet Patricia could even help you with that.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Petra Bed & Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very accommodating during our stay and, perhaps as important, were very responsive when we were setting up our reservation.

I enjoyed the location as it was a nice reprieve from Petra's main street. After hiking Petra for a full day it was nice to get out of the main tourist area and enjoy a quiet, relaxing evening looking out over the city.
