“Surf N Coldest Beer!!!”
Reviewed 28 October 2011

Tom and Lizzy are the Friendliest hosts you could ever meet..Bamboo Cottages sit on one of the most secretive Right hand surf Breaks on the island. For the adventure minded surfer that wishes to experience true island life away from the hype of General Luna Cloud nine. But please don't tell anyone. Ssshhh!!!
P.s Lizzy is always good for a windup and a famous Rick Burger Yeah! Best taken after 3
hr Tube Feast.

We had a very good and memorable stay at Bamboo Garden. We definitely found what we were looking for. Just a few steps away from your cottage and you can see the perfect sunrise and the perfect breaks if you go there in surf seasons (Habagat or Southwest Monsoon). It's just the perfect spot to surf. You'll have a feast there if you're a surfer or even just a beach bum.

It's also near the famous Cloud 9 in GL and Burgos. The quite and cozy atmosphere of their rooms considering its amazingly cheap rates makes it a backpackers haven too. We totally suggest everyone to try to stay at Bamboo Garden. It's definitely worth going back there.

You can visit thier website at http://go2siargao.blogspot.com/

Thanks Tom and Liz, we hope to see you guys when we visit your place again.

George and Izi

P.S. This not in Surigao Del Sur as stated in the address by the way, it's in Siargao, Surigao Del Norte.

A laid back slice of beachfront jungle.
A great spot for:
learning to surf.
some peace away from the tourist trail.
for local cuisine and a greasy cholesterol feast.
the coldest beer on siargao island.
