Our stay was to celebrate my husband and son's birthday. My hubby and I stayed in the camper trailer while the other faamily members bought there own tents and camper trailers. As we sat down at the camper trailer the view of Mt Barney was a site to behold, it took our breath away. The camper was well set up only bringing food and bedding and was amazingly warm even though it was really cold and windy outside. Some of us did a walk up one of the trails and felt so refreshed with the wonderful clean and fresh air. We are now planning another trip back in the warmer months.

Hubby n i planned a weekend getaway at Mt Barney Lodge. Great idea! Great views on the way. Got there at dark, woke the next morning to spectacular views of Mt Barney practically on our doorstep. With the sun shining on the top of the moutain it was stunning. Took lots of photos. We stayed in the camper trailer, great idea all we needed was linen and food. Everything you need to cook with is there you need nothing! The owners Tracey & Innes were very friendly so was Nea. I loved the extra small details around the place, tea, coffee perculator. Clean fresh hand towels in the bathrooms which were very close to the trailers, hot showers, small garden outside the trailer, it was set up for us too! Tracey catered a 2 course meal for us one night, it was delicious. The sound of the creek took some getting used to the first night as it is full and rushes along, but we loved the sound of nature. The camp grounds were beautifully manicured, we own a mowing business so couldn't help but notice the grass :) The drive in is gorgeous as you cross the creek well worthy of a photo. We took the walk to the look-out, 2 hours return, very good, saw lots of rock wallabies, and had a possum visit our camper one of the nights we stayed. Loved it, loved it, recommend it, will stay again!

A few friends and I went down, thinking it would be the coldest camp in a while. It was actually really great, heaps to do and lots of space to spread out. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a return trip.

Had a lovely weekend with friends in the camper trailers. Kids loved the creek and went swimming, despite the cold. Relaxing around the fire looking at the fantastic view was a perfect way to spend some time. The meal on Saturday evening was excellent! All in all we had a great time!

My partner and I booked 2 nights in a deluxe camper trailer. The scenic drive to get their is spectacular and the accommodations are fantastic. The camper had everything. All you need is food and bedding and its just a short stroll to the amenities. The owners made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A couple of nights by the campfire with veiws to Mt Barney, beautiful walks throughout Mt Barney National Park is just what we needed. This will be a place we come back to often. Thanks Innes and Tracey for your hospitality.

Room Tip: When booking a camper trailer ask for the one at the end. It has the most spectacular view of Mt Barney.
