After a looong week we decided to get away from the hustle of the city, as we came to Aqua Terra we where welcomed with a warm smile and a open door. I could feel my worries melting away as I walked into the luxurious common area and by the time I saw the view (2 steps further into the house) I was in a different world. Aqua Terra is by far one of the best places I have stayed in. There was comfy beds, great (clean!) facilities and always someone to help with either a supper suggestion or an activity for the day. I will defiantly be going back and I think it will be sooner rather than later.

What a fantastic weekend away. On arrival we were welcomed by the owner Jenny who came across as a warm, friendly person, inviting us into her home rather then a business. We were shown to our room with a panaromic view of the ocean. Fluffy carpets, stone fire place and beautiful decor with a on suite bathroom that's bath was the size of a small pool. After settling in we lazed about on sun lounges next to an infinity pool over looking false bay. A short stroll down is Simons Town and Boulders Beach where we saw penguins. Our every whim was taken care of immediately with a smile. Breakfast was served in the dining room while we watched the sun rise. Although we had access to the on site gym we felt so relaxed we couldn't work up the energy to use it. Aqua Terra is rated 5 star - I'm my opinion that's not enough! Pure luxury. Thank you for making our 5 year anniversary unforgettable. We will be back, time and time again.

We stayed at Aqua Terra for just one night and wish we could have been there longer. The views are stunning, as is the design of the house. Everything is high quality and if you stay, go for the Executive suite, as it is fabulous. The host couldn't do even to help and her clear aim is to ensure your satisfaction. She was also helpful on restaurant suggestions. We hope to return!

On our arrival we were welcomed, if you could call it a welcome, by a very stern lady who quickly handed us over to a another working lady who who showed us our room and where the fridge was in the lounge. That was it apart from saying breakfast was between seven and nine and what time did we want it. Do you really want to be tied to a time on holiday? The safe in our room did not work so the stern lady suggested we put any valuable in a suitcase, thanks! There was a pair of pants left in a draw by a previous guest, thanks and breakfast was so very simple. The pool was nearly impossible to get in or out of, as the last reviewer said, do they want you yo use it and we were not told that the place had a fitness room and only found this out when we left. Bath towels were not changed over the two days and they were poor quality and we only had one hand towel. Yes the view is to die for and the place is lovely but it just does not work. We were told that the stern lady has been dispensed with and the owner who was more than helpful will put it right.

I knew the road up to the B&B would be steep from other tripadvisor reviews, but I didn't expect it to be THAT steep. Just beware, especially the first time because you'll have to stop at the gate and wait for someone to open it and you'll have to get back in the the car (which is in "P", stopped in the middle of the steep road) to go through the gate. Wasn't a fun experience.

The B&B is at the very end of the road.

We stayed in the garden room, which has it own entrance - and is pretty much separate from the whole house. We were given a brief tour around the house upon check-in. The view is amazing, this house is pretty, but thats about it. I've stayed at many B&Bs before, and I wouldn't say this one were had the best service... they said on their website that they have fitness area so we asked where that was, hoping the host will walk us there to show us, but all she did was said its downstairs, but there's nothing much there and they are not responsible for any injuries (the look on her face was like "just don't go", not promoting it at all). We totally understand any injuries is not their responsibility, but its just the way she presented it - why have one if you don't want us to use it. Same for the pool, she agree with us the view is amazing, but never suggested us staying outside to enjoy the view or taking a dip in the pool. Just the attitude. As if she's saying "don't touch anything so we don't have to clean it up later".

The room was okay, everything was just okay. Not sure where it came from, but we noticed at night, the room ceiling was full of tiny bugs - kind of the size of fruit flies. Just a bunch of them.

Breakfast was very simple. One of the most simple breakfast I had in a B&B.

The view was amazing as the lodge was located up on the side of the mountain overlooking the ocean. Everything was very clean, and perfect for our stay. we were happy to have the a/c unit in the room as it got a little muggy at night. We also enjoyed viewing the stars from the balcony. The location is just outside of Simon's Town, but as long as you have a car it's just about 5 minutes away. The owner was super nice as well. the wifi was a little spotty in the room, but it was better in the common areas. Overall, we loved our stay here.

Room Tip: Stay in the room next to the pool if possible.

Beautiful contemporary house and very comfortable. We stayed in the executive suite with glass from floor to ceiling on 2 of the walls, so the views out to sea were stunning.

Not much to dislike really although breakfasts were fairly basic compared to all the other places we stayed and it would have been nice to have had a fridge in the room, plus a dvd player to listen to our cds.
