6 days/nights we stayed at Rocklands B&B and enjoyed very much the fabulous view over the ocean and the friendly atmosphere in this small and very nice place in all manners. Thanks to the hosts Erica & Richard :)

my English is poor, so that I shall only say that our dream would be to come back and say longer in the rocklands BB, both for the location, the view over the ocean and the quality of the service. Nothing to add in negative terms or even small restrictions

Room small but well appointed. Spacious breakfast room and balcony. Garden small but beautiful with active bird-life. Spectacular views. Well positioned for visits to Cape Point & Simons Town. Penguin Beach & Boulders within walking distance. 5 mins. drive from Black Marlin seafood restaurant.

Stayed at this place just for a night during a business visit to Cape town . For all the questions that you might have related to this property , My answer would be " Beyond Expectations "

Amazing place to stay , Love the sound of the sea at night , Safe , Great Views , Good variety in breakfast and very near to cape point and Penguin beach .

Please be sure to have your dinner in case you are planning to reach late night as you wont find any place in Simon`s town open till late ...

This is THE place to stay if you want to visit the Cape Peninsula.

The room is fantastic - spacious, serviced every day - with a view to DIE for - all the way to the other side of the bay (50+km away). A safe is included and all belongings are secure for your stay.

The location is awesome - You will wake each morning with the sun rising over the bay and the local birds (including the gorgeous Cape Sugar-birds) flittering from bush to shrub to flower in the immaculately maintained garden. There are even some Dassies outside on the road (if you're quick enough to see them). And then comes one of the highlights - a fantastic breakfast by your hosts. They also are extremely knowledgeable about the surrounds (and further afield), whether you like walks and trekking, or dining and wining.

The B&B is located just south of Simons Town, which means that you are closer to the Cape Point Nature Reserve (which is probably why you are here). And you wont be disappointed by it either - it is stunning whether for the sea-scape, landscapes, shipwrecks, animals, vegetation or lighthouses (stay after 1630 on the eastern side to see some Ostriches near the beach/braai areas and also baboons and their young from inside your car on the main road). All this starts only 15 minutes drive away.

And then, if you like sunsets, Scarborough is not far away either, or you could watch the vista change on the mountains across the bay and clouds in the sky (if there are any) as the sun goes (slowly) down. As for the local town, there is golf, walks, quaint places to eat and of course penguins. All you have to do is ask your hosts about where to go, depending on your tastes.

Stay here and really gain the whole experience of the Cape. I'll be coming back...
