This is a place to be avoided if you can. Average food, terrible service, no toilets, bad manager etc. Worst two hours of my entire trip.

“Dodgy place with OK food”
Reviewed 23 October 2012

The food isn't terrible - its OK in fact (& hence the 2 stars) but everything else is terrible. We only landed there because of our guide. The restaurant (Palms) is an outdoor seating style with a resident cat & haphazard furniture. For a while we thought there was no one to serve us. We wanted to use their bathrooms but they had none! The washbasin seemed like it'd make us dirtier if we used it. There were flies buzzing around - we decided to eat anyways because it was raining & we wanted to finish with our meal. The waiter was an older man who between taking our order & serving us the food, helped checked in guests into their rooms... I wouldn't be surprised if he himself cooked the food even. We ordered basic veggie food - chapati, aloo gobi, dal tadka, jeera rice & veg fried rice & we polished most of it. We were hungry & the food wasn't bad.

The hotel is undergoing renovation and maybe we caught it in between the change but why they'd star the renovation during peak season is anyone's guess...

So maybe walk in take a look and if the place looks back on its feet then maybe you could venture in...

Can't suggest anyone to opt for this place. The food is close to pathetic. But that can still be tolerated. The problem is the staff. Extremely non-cooperative. The dishes that we got were not clean. Oil was left on them. On top of it all, they would not give us any spoons to eat rice with. Also, no chapatis in the lunch buffet.
