Your stay in hampi is completely incomplete without staying in the goan corner. it really is an amazing place with a vibe, energy ,that can soothe your inner part if your tired of hectic city and day to day work go to the goan corner. ............now comin to service I've never experienced better anything than the goan corner ,rooms are huge and adequate well equipped , food was the best among the whole village , but careful as there are some doggy hippies who try to misjudge you abt the goan corner ........well if in hampi make sure you do visit the goan corner as it's a stone throw away from the boulders so my piece of advice goan corner 10/10

I 'discovered' The Goan Corner from The Lonely Planet / Tripadvisor and must admit, it was a huge disappointment.

It is located away from the main road on the other side of the river and there isn't much Goan about the menu offered - a sad attempt to satisfy global palates.

The 'international' offerings on the menu - we ordered moussaka and Thai green curry - were disastrous. Indian dishes were passable, at best.

While service was prompt, our experience with the food at the restaurant was definitely not worth the detour.

I stayed for a couple of days and it is an excellent family run restaurant and homestay. It felt like an unofficial youth hostel ! Amazing dinner timings !

This is a very nice place to hang out. The food is also tasty. They have an amazing menu and the quality is good. The best part is their price. Very reasonable and in the evening you can enjoy nice music also.

The owners are lovely helpful people. We got to see the room first before committing. Prices are fixed, so no negotiating, but this makes it fair!
Food/menu was great. You can pay & get wifi or use a computer terminal there.
Location is great, quiet & very picturesque.
Rooms very cheap, very budget. Floors were filthy-dusty! We had a room with our own bathroom. Water is cold, which was ok as it was quite hot when we visited.
We had a little frog, gecko, ants, a cock roach & lots of Mosquitos visit our room!!
You'll definitely need more than insect repellent for the bites you'll get. There is a net over the bed.
Recommended for low budget traveller.
