I am glad I went early morning while it was still not too hot to walk around. The site is lovely and it is great to have it to yourself, at least for a little while. Most of the temples in Hampi are built following the same plan and consist of a group of buildings. This one is particularly well kept as it is a UNESCO site. If it is not too hot, walk the kilometre from the gate to the main site, instead of taking the toy train, the bath/pool half way up is worth it.
