I was really worried about coming here after the bad reviews on facebook however we have had a fine time here. The position is handy to the Lake and main street to shop and eat.The room was clean and bed comfy with nice antique furniture. The view from the balcony is truly lovely. The food was fine, not spectacular but quite edible. Breakfast was quite ok. Toast and jam and little rolls, cornflakes and fresh fruit, as well as Indian food choices.so I dont know whatvall the complaints were about really. Though I suppose the bad reviews might have caused an improvement. Not everyone here was smiling but those who did made the difference. A happy smile works wonders. So though of course not 5 star, we liked our stay here. Oh one complaint is that our shower head was crazy andcsprayed everywhere butvthe one in my sisters room was fine so I will tell the manager today.I loved Pushkar the lakecand hills and streets are great and the people everywhere gentle and friendly and no aggressive selling st all.

Room Tip: Was fun to see monkeys early this morning on restaurant roof.

An interesting old place. We had rooms on the 3rd floor looking onto the lake with spectacular views of the sunsets and the activities on the ghats. The rooms were large and comfortable with a separate dressing room. Breakfast was very ordinary as we could not have our customary omelet because eggs are not allowed in Pushkar. [However, across the road and quite close is a cafe called the Sunset Cafe and they have great food for little money]. Staff and standard of service were fine and this hotel is in an excellent position to walk easily around the town. A stay there is certainly to be recommended.

Pushkar Palace is a very comfortable hotel with spectacular views of the lake from the upper balconies. A great place to retreat to after a busy day wandering around Pushkar. We were there in the lead-up to Holi, so it was pretty noisy, but I suspect that would have been true of any hotel.

Our third floor rooms were spacious and well appointed, if a little worn. As others have said, food is not a strong point and the dining room is dark and poky, but there is an excellent cafe just next door. Save your laundry up! It's a bargain, and beautifully ironed to boot.

We arrived in Delhi from the Us via London at 0200 in the morning. Our driver met us and drove us to the Hotel Pushkar Palace arriving there about noon. It is an older hotel situated adjacent the lake. We had two upstairs rooms overlooking the lake. My room was on the end so I also had a direct side view to the lake. The rooms were ready when we arrived so we checked in and explored the town. This is no modern business hotel by any means but we counted it as one of our favorite hotels during the trip. The room was clean, its a great location for observing the lake or walking into town and the air conditioning worked well. Truly a great nights sleep after over 30 hours since a bed. The breakfast was adequate. We had fruit salad and toast with juice and tea. We agreed it was fun and really set the tone for our short adventure in Pushkar.

Room Tip: Overlooking the lake is a must

The hotel is an old palace that has been restored. The rooms, in my opinion were relatively small but I found them to be clean..and adequate. Nothing profoundly appealing to the senses in that case....but what really makes this hotel stand out is the direct view of the kund ( pushkar lake). Do ask for a room that faces the lake..theres a beautiful vibe around the kund that percolates into the hotel..making the stay totally worth it..in my opinion. Another plus is a cosy, hipsterish cafe right by the hotel. On the downside, the breakfast at the hotel is terrible. Cold, dry and completely uninspired. You could easily give that a skip.

This has been a disappointment in the past but it is quite nice now that soon is running it. Great view of Lake and Sunset. Right in town where you can watch all the ghat activity. Breakfast is VERY LAME! So have a backup plan. Also beware of room they give you... It may be a tiny room with no view our a nice big room with a great view.

In fairness the hotel is situated in a dirty street in Pushkar. The beds were so hard that I woke throughout the night. My back hurt for the next day or two (even though the next hotel epwas lovely. Pushkar Palce would be greatly enhanced by modest gardening efforts in the center of the hotel space. Right now, it is a scrubby ugly patch of weeds and grass. Food at the PP was dreadful and served on dirty tablecloths. I will never re-visit this hotel.
