We were moved here when the hotel Seespitz was overbooked the reception staff were surly the stair carpet was dirty only one bulb working in the room and the room was on a busy junction with a couple off spot lights shinning straight in our room. Also the barman could do with learning some manners just glad we were only here for one night

Room Tip: Dont get the room at the front right on the junction

Just returned from a week's all inclusive holiday at this hotel and would have liked to stay longer. The holiday was excellent value for money as the food in the hotel is really good quality (compliments to the chef/s) and the wines served with dinner are very good. There is an extensive drinks menu included in the all inclusive and service overall is excellent. Many thanks to Roland, the restaurant manager (who has a good sense of humour!) and will do all he can to accommodate you if you do not like what is on the dinner menu. Krystina is also excellent and will keep topping your wine glass up! My only minor grumble re the food was that there was no alternative offered to the 'meat feast' on the Austrian evening and at lunch, the soup is always meat based and the meal is always meat so, as a vegetarian, I could only have salad for lunch. However, due to days out, we only had lunch three times in the hotel and, as stated by another traveller, packed lunches cost 9 Euros so you don't tend to get lunch on all inclusive unless you ar hanging around the hotel all day. Roman, the head barman is very efficient and cheery but be aware that you will not necessarily be served in turn! The hotel has guests of many nationalities and it is only the British who do queueing and waiting in turn, lol, so be prepared to be elbowed out of the way by other guests. (The same applies re the buffet style courses in the restaurant). Also worthy of mention, and often missed out, is the room maid on the second floor who was exceptionally cheery and polite and kept our room spotless - thank you. The swimming pool in the hotel is worth going to and you can sit around the pool and relax. However, I daren't venture ino the Nordic spa area as the glass door leading to it states, 'Nudist area only'! Overall, the hotel is small, friendly and very comfortable with easy access to the town, railway and bus station and, it has the horse and carriages just outside if you fancy taking a trip on one of these (36 Euros for up to 4 people). Also, only a 20 minute transfer time from Innsbruck airport (though longer to get back due to 30 mins picking up from 5 other hotels). The resort of Seefeld is a great place to stay. Do not miss a trip up to Rossehutte via the funicular railway and go further up on the cable cars - fantastic. Take a trip to Innsbruck on the train (but not on a Sunday). Go to the Leutasch Gorge (best by bus which will take you to the top of the gorge), view he gorge and then walk to the bottom, pay 3 Euros and go see the waterfall, then walk into Mittenwald (actually in Germany) which is a truly lovely place wih some fab shops. Don' miss the butchers here if you like hot pork rolls or curry wurst. You don't get a thin slice of pork in the roll, you get a thick pork chop sized piece of pork (not for me, but friends thought this was good). One last word, the Crystal reps were great, especially Ivan, so thankyou to Crystal/Thomson.

Just returned from holiday for 2 weeks staying at Hotel Bergland on ALL INCLUSIVE as advertised on website, lovely food, very good staff including Roland,Kristina,Marcel and Roman, and Iris the recepionist.Clean Rooms, but on booking ask for a rear room, as the front of hotel is on the main road from Innsbruck into town.Had a family Room (402) unfortunately banged my head a few times on the slope of the roof.
Also if you are on a Day Coach Trip you have to pay 9 Euros for a Packed Lunch and we feel that ALL INCLUSIVE means all meals, therefore if you are out for the day you miss out lunch and afternoon tea.

Room Tip: If you would like something special book a STUDIO NORDIC ROOM (409 is Lovely)

This is my 2nd review on this hotel, and as you can see, I still love it.

From the buffet breakfast, the lunch, the coffee and cake to the fantastic evening meal, you will not be disappointed.

The room we had was basic, but enough for what you need (shower, tv, bed, chairs etc) and the location is brilliant. 1 minute to the centre of town, 2 minutes to the bus/train station.

The service us top notch, but remember this is a hotel not a pub, sometimes you have to wait a little bit of time for a drink, especially in the evening when the food is being served, the bar area is a bit quiet, but wine and drinks are bought to your table as you eat, but most of the time the service is very quick.

One more thing, if you need something, ask... and if something is wrong, tell them, its as simple as that.

We will return to this hotel again, and a lot of the other brits we spoke to had also been there before, it is a place you will want to go back to,

Room Tip: I found the road quiet, but there are different rate rooms, with bath etc, its a choice you make dep...

Just arrived back from two week stay with my husband. What can I say, cannot fault the hotel fantastic staff who cannot do enough for you, everyone made you feel very welcome & the weekly cocktails with the owners was a nice touch. All staff were very friendly, special thank you to Csaba the waiter, Roman the head barman & Marcello the waiter. The all inclusive was great value, the cake buffet was excellent , food fantastic & the wines at evening meal were fabulous not your usual house wine & very free flowing. Nordic Spa was also excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel, excellent central location without being noisey.

We arrived back from our stay last Saturday and had a wonderful time at the hotel Bergland. I was staying with my parents and two children and everyone loved it. The food was fabulous and such good value to be all inclusive. I loved the afternoon cakes especially the strudel and apricot/almond cake. The service was fantastic and the staff all very friendly. Special thanks to Marcel the waiter and Roland the restaurant manager who excelled themselves. The rooms were lovely and cleaned spotlessly by the maid who went the extra mile. The pool was great and well used on a daily basis by myself and the children. Would love to go again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back are quieter. The rooms on the front will experience road noise.

We were part of a large group (14) and the staff were really helpful, when we left something they posted it back to the UK, free of charge and really promptly. The staff were great with the children and the all inclusive element worked well. The only negative was the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, but I don't think that is unique to this hotel in Austria. Really close to town centre with lots of restaurants and shop, trains to loads of places and great activities.
