We've stayed here a few times before, and always liked it. It was just as good this time. Our room (room 2) had a bath with jacuzzi fittings and shower. There was a safe in the room. Wifi was free but a bit slow. The dinner was excellent, but the menu was not extensive. Breakfast was served, and a bit limited: pastries, apple juice, fruit, soft cheese, coffee/tea. Overall still a very pleasant experience as it is such a nice spot, but even in July we got a room at short notice and the hotel was not full, with only 3 tables taking dinner. I wonder if they have raised their prices just a bit too much.

A large pretty old watermill in a lovely peaceful spot on the banks of the Seine. The room was small but comfortable, the restaurant was very atmospheric with a lovely view out over the river. Food was nicely served and well presented but of fairly average quality and sadly lacking in vegetables.

The hotel is on a small island which is a delight to walk round but somewhat neglected.

The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Food and drink prices were above the average.

To say it is a charming place is an understatement. Staying here was like being in a fairy tale. The grounds are just as they appear on the website and the views from each room are breathtaking. We also had dinner here which was unbelievable! We ready for the ultimate French cuisine experience!

This is a true little gem of a hotel. Once you've managed to find it (not easy!) the setting is wonderful & the staff/service superb, albeit limited at the time of year we visited. The rooms were clean & spacious enough with (for a French hotel) a remarkably comfortable bed & the overnight price was very reasonable. The restaurant was elegant & smart & the standard of both the menu & the cooking were excellent, not overly pretentious or over complicated but good highy quality ingredients, well put together & well presented. Clearly a talented chef. Not cheap food/wine but good value for money . Would defintely visit again.

We travelled to this wonderful, small, hotel in mid August. Having taken the car ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe, it was an easy journey to by-pass Rouen and continue to Connelles where we received the warmest of welcomes from Karine. The location is idyllic, being on a branch of the Seine which flows beneath part of the hotel where the former watermill is located. Prior to a superb dinner on the enclosed terrace right over the river, we had cocktails on the outdoor deck where we watched swans gliding by and the odd little motor-boat, one of which moored up to disembark for dinner too. We stayed for three nights in the most comfortable beds and well appointed room, visiting Rouen Cathedral on the first day, and Monet's gardens at Giverny on the second day - both an easy 30 minute drive from Connelles. Both were most enjoyable but we couldn't wait to get back to the utter peace of the Moulin! We can't wait to go back and would recommend it most highly.

This charming hotel is situated about 35 minutes from Rouen right on a peaceful section of the Seine River. There are about 13 rooms in the converted mill house. Our little suite was lovely...classy decor, not stuffy or too formal. Comfy bed, large bathroom, nice amenities (wifi, safe, nice toiletries, hairdryer, plus Calvados in your room!).

The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a lovely seasonal menu of high quality cuisine. What a treat! Highly recommend this wonderful retreat.

A wonderful place for a few days peace and rest. Giverny is a few km away, and there is always Rouen to visit. The rooms are excellent, and very comfortable.
The restaurant is excellent, with a view over the water. Literally - a branch of the Seine flows directly beneath it.
