A very nice hotel overall. We stayed there for 5 nights with our baby girl, 15 months old.
- The room was really spacious and nice and the baby cot was ready when we arrived for us. There was plenty of space, a huge patio, in front of our room with a table and chairs under a big umbrella. Really nice place.
- The only disappointing part was the bathroom, which was quite small, without any window and thus it was quite difficult to bathe the baby. In general though the bathroom was not a nice one.
- Breakfast was very good and the location excellent.
- It wAs a pity that we didn't manage to dive in the sea right under the hotel, as it looks very good and different (wild rocks etc).
- Last but not least, rooms were very clean and the people serving us were very polite!
A few suggestions to the owners:
1. Improve bathrooms
2. Do something with the Ir conditioning, as the place is quite hot and it is very hard to arrive in a very warm room in the evening or even at night, especially with a baby in your hands that needs to sleep.
3. Improve your wifi. It never worked really.
Thank you

Very beautiful hotel- stone made - with large rooms. Very close to the sea. Our room had a really big balcony enough for kids to play.
Cons: the bathroom in our room had no window and the ventilation wasn't enough .....

Room Tip: Try to choose a room away from direct sunlight, if possible with window in the bathroom.

My husband and I have just returned home from our honeymoon trip around Greece during which time we had the pleasure of staying at this absolutely gorgeous little gem of a hotel in Kardamyli.

From the moment we drove to the hotel up the little lane alongside Ritsa beach we just knew that we were going to love it there! The hotel is set at the end of the beach, around a 20 minute walk from the centre of the village, in the most beautiful of grounds with sea views at all angles.

Our room was just stunning, really cool and stylish and it was kept exceptionally clean all week by the wonderful team at the Melitsina. The room facilities were excellent - great kitchenette area and a huge balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast each morning was a highlight for us - the selection was great with local produce and a variety of home made items all enjoyed in the most perfect setting overlooking the sea in the tranquility of the grounds. Such a relaxing and perfect way to start the morning!

We adored Kardamyli, it is such a wonderful place as is the whole of the southern Peloponnese - a car is a must to appreciate the beauty and diversity of this place. We will definitely return and it would most definitely be to Melitsina! Thank you to the team there for a beautiful week.

My girlfriend and I drove down the coast and stumbled across this hidden gem by accident.
The hotel was a sight for sore eyes. Very well kept, very clean with very large rooms and an amazing view of the ocean.
The owners were extremely friendly and were always there whenever we needed something.
The breakfast was good and full of local treats. We sat and enjoyed the peace and amazing view of the ocean and the wonderful village of Kardamili.
This hotel is excellent for couples and families who are in search of relaxation.

Last year we went on we vacation and stayed at this hotel. It's still one of
my favorite memories, when I look back, especially the breakfast was awsome. Such a
nice view and very relaxing atmosphere with chill out lounge music and everything you want for breakfast, and you will also find locally produced food. They have access to the sea, its no sandy beach but, you wont miss anything, the water is clear and the village close to the hotel is only a 10 min walk and is cute and nice to walk through in the evening. We rented a scooter to explore the area around us. The lady who owns the hotel was very nice and tried to help us with everything and to arrange the whole scooter rental thing. I absolutely recommend this. Nice place to stay for couples.

Wish them all the best.

Great example of a new breed of quality Greek villa-style boutique hotel. Rooms are large, simply furnished but top quality. Staff and service attentive, friendly but understated. This isn't a flashy place, but everything's done well. Excellent location at end of quiet lane running alongside sea, 1-2 km from Kardamali village - itself a charming little town. Can't recommend this highly enough as a place simply to unwind. We'll come again.
