“A little bit away from city center”
Reviewed 31 October 2013 via mobile

This could be convenient for someone if you have a private car , but there is nothing near in a walking distance I mean. If you want to get away from crows,it's just what you are looking for! Nice service,a little bit expensive for what it offers, spacious parking. The exterior was not in a very good condition.

Excellent hotel less than 5 minutes drive from Nafplion. The staff including Manager Christos, reception, meet and greet dining room and cleaning staff were fantastic. The rooms are spacious, clean, well equipped and have either a small balcony or ground floor terrace/patio. Bathrooms are modern and spacious The breakfast caters for all tastes with food of a high standard. The hotel is set in a quiet location with palm trees and lawns which give the place a tropical feel. There are plenty of public spaces, both inside and out where you can relax and the swimming pool is just that, not a splash pool. I would have no problem in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Choose one of the first floor rooms with a small balcony rather than a ground floor room with patio...

One of the most nicely presented places I've stayed in. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The pool area, dinner and breakfast, the piano bar, the grounds and the rooms were all of a high standard. A lovely experience. I would highly recommend Amalia Nauplia!

we stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be a modern and clean hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are comfortable and the food was excellent. If you are there when the Orange trees are in bloom leave your door open and the AC off for a truely great night sleep. Will deffinately stay here again

Room Tip: Get a courtyard room on one of the wings

I stayed here on a group tour (unusually!) so had no say on what hotels we were in, and also can't comment on the price. However, I really liked this one - we had three days here. It's very big and plainly seems to be set up for group tours, but has a lovely, quite grand reception area, a nicely done bar and very spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The restaurant that we used is large, and in the basement, which isn't hugely exciting but the food choice (we had buffets both nights, which may be all they do in that room) was good, and breakfast was a generous and varied spread. My only complaint, common to all the hotels is that fresh juice of any kind was difficult to come by - it was all that horrible "Sunny Delight" equivalent. This, when you have oranges a-plenty all over Greece at this time of year. Personally I think they could make some decent extra revenues by charging people 3 Euros for fresh OJ at breakfast. Large spacious grounds with a swimming pool - not for me...outdoor and unheated! The only downside is that it is outside town. If I was booking for myself I would see what options were available within walking distance of the town centre before going for this one again. Very pleasant service (common to all the Greek hotels I stayed in, in fact).

We are a family of 4 and rented 2 rooms back in August. The facility is simple but beautiful. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean (North American style). The hotel is quiet and setting is grand. The pool and the hotel grounds are a must on a hot day along with the food service which was great. There is a wonderful hot breakfast to enjoy in the morning. You are about a 5 minute drive from Nafplio town center which is a must, especially at night and 30 minutes from Epidauros and the ancient ruins and amphitheater. The hotel is just wonderful...2 months later, we're still talking about it.
