We stayed at Aetoma hotel for 2 nights, we had a wonderful time. Mr. Akis and his mother are so warm, helpful and so nice. We got lot of good tips from Akis, he's wonderful and extremely helpful.
The hotel is a lovely remodeled old house, located in old town, it's very convenient located. Akis gave us a clear and precise direction so we didn't have much trouble finding it. Because we went at low season, we found parking right in front of the hotel, but even if you can't find parking there, there's a huge parking lot by the port nearby.
Our room was lovely and very quiet, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The stay surely made our experience in Nafplio even better.

My friend and I spent two lovely days here, after a 21 hour trip from Istanbul! The hotel was just amazing- big rooms, nice bathrooms, high ceilings, amazing views, wonderful breakfasts, and best of all Akiz and him Mum! They were informative, courteous and just wonderful! We will definitely be going back!

We stayed here in October, and loved everything about this hotel! Akis and his mother were lovely to us, and we really enjoyed chatting to them each day. Breakfast has to be seen to be believed - an incredible variety of foods, all delicious! Our room was very elegant and tastefully decorated, with a balcony that faced onto the shops and restaurants below.

It's all been said. Pan and Akis are the perfect hosts, full of information and kind thoughts, such as cakes to take out with us for the day's sightseeing and an early morning coffee in our room on the morning of our departure. The hotel is ideally situated right in the middle of Nafplio with less than 5 mins walk to all parts of the old town, but in a very quiet little square just off the beaten track. Parking in the square is tight but there is plenty of safe parking just a couple of minutes away. Nafplio itself is a delightful little town, and we loved the 2-3 mile walk along the coast to Karathonas beach. Most of all though we loved Pan and her wonderful breakfasts!! ευχαριστώ πολύ

We very much enjoyed staying at the Aetoma. Arriving mid afternoon, we were warmly greeted and coffee/tea and cakes were offered on our balcony. The room was spacious and perfectly maintained, as was the bathroom. Beautifully served breakfast included eggs to order. No long walks up Nafplio staircases to reach the hotel and perfectly situated to enjoy ambles around this small and lovely town. The mother- son team, Pan and Akis, were everything a traveler in a new place could ask for. We visited Nafplio on an overnight by bus from Athens... An easy 2.5 hour ride
by bus. Checking out, we asked mother about subway connections on our arrival in Athens and left for the bus station. 10 minutes later Akis found us waiting at the station to reiterate our metro connection...I'm sure Mom dispatched him to be sure we understood how to make our metro. Still smiling as I write. I rarely remember any room I sleep in, but will not soon forget the kindness and gracious care we encountered at the Aetoma.

You will never get a better welcome than the one provided by Arkis. He is a help oriented dynamo who compliments the gracious welcoming presence of his mother Pan. Together these two provide generous hospitality in this beautiful boutique guest house. All the rooms are stylishly appointed but treat yourself and go straight to the top floor for the duration of your stay. This spacious room with expansive private balconies and a view of the fort is definitely a class act. The bed is incredibly comfortable and breakfast to order on the balcony is a treat. Nafplio is on the doorstep of Aetoma so you can safely walk anywhere. You will not beat this home away from home for value, care and attention to detail. A must stay place in this beautiful city. I spent hours doing the whole Trip Advisor thing for our stay in this lovely city....save yourself the time and just book now. GandA

We were glad that the hotel emailed us with detailed directions prior to our stay, as we used them and found the hotel with no problem upon our arrival in Nafplion! The roads were quite narrow and we ended up parking about a 5 minute walk away, which was perfect. This was a wonderful bed and breakfast that set us in a great mood on our first night in Greece. Akis met us at the door upon arrival and helped us to bring our luggage upstairs. He proceeded to give us some tips on local sights, dining establishments, and insight on the roads we were about to undertake on our travels! (Invaluable tip - take the highway, even though the shortest road may be 80km shorter - due to the mountains and weaving roads, the two will take the same time!) We only had the single night in Nafplion, but easily could have spent a few days here. We enjoyed unwinding on the balcony after exploring and grabbing dinner. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very extensive and delicious! We were also very impressed with the shower!
