Wow....is this one of the best Indian restaurants in Ireland?
My wife and I think so. We stopped and ate here last Sunday on our journey to Cork from our home in Galway. This was our second time to have eaten here, and yet again it didn't disappoint.
The food is unreal here. So fresh and tasty, and such excellent value at €10.95/person for a starter and main course! My wife, being a vegetarian, was spoilt for choice for options.
We both had mixed starters. I had the chicken pasanda, my wife the vegetable chana aloo. Wow, so tasty and delicious! The accompanying pilau rice and garlic and coriander naan bread...yum
Staff were very friendly and table service was excellent. The owner is very hands on and justifiably proud of the business he has built up.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who is a fan of Indian cuisine, be they a resident or simply a passing tourist of town of Thurles.
