“Fantastic escape to the country”
Reviewed 29 May 2013

The house is full of character and atmosphere with beautiful views and you really do feel that old world charm, antiques are everywhere and the food is fantastic.
We stayed four nights and felt very much at home, the whole family are very welcoming and we had a meal one night in the restaurant which was fantastic and great value for the quality. Do remember to try the excellent mushroom/chicken pancake starter it is really delicious.
Breakfast is wonderful with a great buffet and huge choice of hot options and a really relaxing atmosphere. This is our second time staying here as ten of us stayed previously for a family celebration and everyone loved being there and remembered their stay fondly.
Inch house is as much an experience as it is a wonderful relaxing place to stay, you almost feel as if you are back in time living in a stately home when you stay there.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Inch House. It was exactly what we wanted, a stay in a traditional and welcoming home. We stayed on a Monday and didn't get a chance to have dinner, but breakfast was delicious and upon our arrival we were offered tea and dessert (yes, please!).

We have stayed in Inch House several times. The house itself is lovely, old world charm and the grounds are also lovely. But the real treasure of Inch is the food. If you like great food in lovely relaxing surroundings don't miss Inch.
You can use it as a base for visiting the Rock of Cashel, Devils Bit, Thurles, etc.

Room Tip: Make sure not to miss breakfast and dinner, both are magnificent.

I would like to first start by saying I know the family. From the moment you turn into the driveway you can feel that it will be a great stay, during the summer the fields are in full bloom, and with the birds nesting in the big trees on the lawn. Inch House is well knowing for food and lives up to all the awards it receives year on year. The rooms are well worth staying in , all the rooms are different so there is one that has your name on it. The thing I loved the most was that I could bring my dog, they made up a bed for him in their kennels. It was such a treat to see him play with their family dogs, one being an Irish wolf hound. The last tip I have for you is to try the homemade black and white pudding and breads, and if you like what you see you can buy and bring some home to relive the tasteful experience in your own home.

Room Tip: room with a front view if you can get it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Inch House with some of my family members for a couple of nights and I have to say that Inch House is what coming home to Ireland is all about; the people, the house itself, the accommodation, the breakfast, the surrounding gardens - all sum up a wonderful House Hotel run by a wonderful family.

Room Tip: Out of the four rooms we stayed in, ALL were magnificent, honestly!

My parents recently stayed at Inch House over Easter and they could not speak highly enough of the visit they had. Everything was lovely from the time they arrived and had a drink in the drawing room to the stay itself.
They were in a lovely room to the front of the house and this room would qualify as a suite in a hotel. Very spacious and the bed was comfortable also.
We ate in the restauarant on easter saturday and the food was delicious especially the fillet of beef. Guinness from the bar was also nice which was good to see.
Nothing was too much for the staff at Inch House and my parents said that the breakfast and in particular the famous black and white pudding was excellent.
Yet another great visit to this lovely unassuming and wonderful venue in Tipperary.
