Whereever you come from, wherever you`re going this a home for you!
Thank you ever so much. We really felt welcome. Had a wonderful stay, perfect location, very peaceful. Great Irish breakfast with home made pudding and lovel brown bread.

Room Tip: I honestly don`t think it matters. All the rooms are great.

We only stayed the one night and wished it could have been longer. It is a family run country house hotel with a very personal touch. The food is exceptional and I would recommend that anyone visiting stays for dinner. Our room was enormous with views out over the front of the house. We were made to feel very welcome and would recommend anyone to visit it.

Have just arrived back home from a one night stay at Inch. From the moment we arrived I knew we were in for a treat. Nora and the family were so friendly, with plenty of time to give to their guests. The room was enormous and so comfortable and even though there are tea making facilities in the room we were still offered a pot of tea. The dinner was delicious, served in a lovely old dining room, with plenty of atmosphere and excellent service. I would love to have a restaurant like it in the south Dublin area. No fussy, cheffy stuff here just delicious, wholesome home cooked fresh food. The breakfast next morning surpassed anything I have had anywhere, the stuff you would dream of including their own home made black and white pudding, which incidentally you can buy in Cavistons, Glasthule. We will certainly be going back for a week end and doing one of the many walking trails they have mapped out for guests. Well done to Nora and her team.

Room Tip: we had a gorgeous room overlooking the manicured gardens

You get to stay in a lovely old house on a working farm. We made arrangements to have dinner there as well. We were a little early in the season so the rooms were not all taken but the dining was full with local people. go down early and have a drink in their bar. Be sure to look for the little dog laying on top of the big dog. If you're landing in Dublin then heading for the south or west it's a lovely first nights stop.

After landing early morning in Dublin and driving to Powerscourt and Glendalough, we had a relaxing drive to Inch House just outside Thurles. It is a large and beautiful old home. We were warmly greeted by Mairin who even managed to conjure up a double rainbow in the view outside our room. My wife and I had a huge double room with sitting area by a fireplace. We really like staying our first night on vacation where there is a restaurant on site so we can just check in and relax all evening. And, what an excellent restaurant! We started the evening with cocktails in their lovely bar and parlor room, then moved to the dining room for dinner. We've never been fans of black pudding, but as this is a known specialty of Inch House we gave it a try and it was wonderfully prepared and delicious. The rest of the meal was equally excellent. One measure of a restaurant's reputation at a guesthouse or inn is the number of locals who eat there, and the restaurant was filled and we were the only non-locals. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, and gave us a good start on our next day's drive to Killarney. Thank you to Mairin and everyone at Inch House for a great night's stay!

Room Tip: The double room with a sitting area and view to the front of the house is very roomy, comfortable an...

The house is full of character and atmosphere with beautiful views and you really do feel that old world charm, antiques are everywhere and the food is fantastic.
We stayed four nights and felt very much at home, the whole family are very welcoming and we had a meal one night in the restaurant which was fantastic and great value for the quality. Do remember to try the excellent mushroom/chicken pancake starter it is really delicious.
Breakfast is wonderful with a great buffet and huge choice of hot options and a really relaxing atmosphere. This is our second time staying here as ten of us stayed previously for a family celebration and everyone loved being there and remembered their stay fondly.
Inch house is as much an experience as it is a wonderful relaxing place to stay, you almost feel as if you are back in time living in a stately home when you stay there.
