Nice menu to choose from. There's daily specials everyday which are quite tasty. There's also sandwich/ panini menu which is very varied & filling.
I have never had a bad meal or sandwich in the ragg. All the food is fresh & well presented. The only critisim I have is that they don't hand out proper chips if a portion is requested. Instead what I would call small roast potatoes are given out. They are very tasty but sometimes I would prefer a proper chip.
The bar itself it slightly outdated looking but is kept spotlessly clean, which isn't easy to achieve with a carpet. A small facelift would do wonders for the bar just to brighten it up a bit.
Staff are prompt with service & special requests are always provided with no fuss.
One of the better pubs in the area providing pub grub at a reasonable price. Worth a visit.

The food was quite OK and fast. This is a family run pub and we were treated very nicely. Like many Aussies in Ireland we were family tree hunting and the staff were very helpful. They told us to wait until the local priest arrived for lunch and he would know the answers! they were right.
The pub is spacious and welcoming not dark and gloomy and it is warm - always a good thing in wet and windy conditions.
