Worth a look .. interesting but not a lot to see .. good view from the top .. again parking is a pain for all venue's in Wexford.

Enniscorthy is chock full of history; another must see for any student of Irish history, particularly the '98 Rebellion. Vinegar Hill, Father Murhphy..it all happened here.

Enniscorthy castle is a fantastic experience and one not too be missed.
The staff were very informative and helpful.
The castle is situated in the centre of Enniscorthy surrounded by fab shops, bars and restaurants.
Only a 1 hr drive from Dublin and all age children are catered for.

Thank Brenda K

A good way to pass a couple of hours, a good history of enniscorthy and Ireland's history, had a great guide for the rooftop tour, good value for money if you want to understand some of Ireland's past

The castle museum is fascinating, and has a great view of the area from the turrets if the guide takes you up there. We particularly enjoyed learning about Eileen Gray, who was born in the area but lived mainly in France in the 20's and 30's and later. She is a little known star of modern furniture design, and her section of the museum has replicas of her innovative tubular stainless steel and glass tables, her overstuffed Michelin Man chair, and other furniture designed for maximum ease of use.
