We ate here a few weeks ago after walking over from Banyalbufur. On the positive side they were relaxed about allowing us in with our dog but the food was poor and overpriced for what it was. Service a bit grumpy as well.

It looked like a nice place but...
Sardines are not anchovies...so you should tell
A plate of cuttle fish that cost 14 € should come with some garniture, not just half a liter of olive oil.
And if a client tell you he doesn't like his drink, you just change it, you don't start arguing...
At the end, 40 € for 1 tapa and two plates...and left hungry and angry for the service by the owner.
Definitely will not come back and won't advice it to anyone, but I guess they don't care because they receive loads of tourists, since it's the only restaurant in the town.

We only had the tapas for lunch so cannot speak for the rest of the menu (which did look extensive). There were only about 8 things on the tapas menu but not all available.. nearly everything was fried. Most of the dishes were tiny (by tapas standards) and came out one at a time. As everything was fried I found it rather greasy - I've certainly had much better.

The service was friendly enough though.

The first time we came here was after a hike from Banyalbufar to Port des Canonge (where the restaurant actually is) along the Cami Sa Volta des General through the woods along the coast. It was a Sunday afternoon and there were many people here, so service was a little slow, but very friendly. We sat outside on the patio. There were places in the shade as well as in the sun. Had bread and green olives first - I don´t like olives but my husband said they were quite bitter. Ordered 3 seafood tapas - gambas in garlic oil, fried sardines, and fried squid with potatoes, which were all good. Also had an Ensalada Mixta. We paid about €30 with 2 soft drinks. The second time we drove down by motorbike (narrow winding serpentine road!) to have the Paella Mixta. This time the restaurant was not that full (it was about 3 pm) and service was a bit quicker. Really enjoyed the Paella, but beware if you scrape the pan to get the last bits of rice out, they were quite oil-soaked. Had coffee and 2 soft drinks - paid €35. Minimum order for Paella is 2 portions. Service was always friendly here, and the atmosphere very relaxed.

The walk here from the car-park outside Banyalbufar takes about an hour, and is very pleasant. Then you have a lovely place for lunch!!
The Pimientoes Padrones were particularly good!! highly recommended!!
