This is a lovely restaurant with a welcoming feel and charming staff. We ate dinner here on a slightly chilly evening May 2014. I had courgettes topped with a local cheese sauce to start, the local sausage-meat and honey ravioli to follow and chocolate cake for pudding. All beautifully presented and delightfully cooked/baked. We had a bottle of Mallorcan red wine which I would love to be able to remember the name of but cannot; which is a shame because it was a perfect accompaniment to the meal.
You can see into the kitchen from the restaurant if you chose your table carefully. The chef makes his own pasta and desserts.
There are a few good central restaurants in Pollenca and this is one of the nicest.

In Pollensa where there are many good restaurants, Cantonet stands out. It offers really first rate home cooked food, relaxed atmosphere and the most charming staff I have encountered in many years. The food is excellent without being over fartified. It is tucked up a narrow street away from the main throng. The restaurant is quiet and comfortable. Our second meal there in a short stay was in the court yard above. A brilliant setting. The ladies who looked after us were absolutely delightful and even threw in a few Spanish lessons. The whole experience was fantastic.

We lunched here on a day trip to Pollenca. It was very quiet, but the food was excellent and the service delightful. We had some delicious salads and some top quality ravioli - the one with the local sausage and a honey tinge to the sauce was a delight. Clearly I had to sample the tiramisu too, which was pretty good too. It was washed down with a very well priced rosado and made for a splendid lunch stop out of the sun.

Quiet spot away from busy square with attentive service. We had carpaccio and a simple salad, followed by a carbonara and a sausage based pasta. The pasta itself was wonderful but the sauces were rather bland. We so often enjoy really tasty Italian food. That said we found the food in many restaurants in Pollensa to be very conservative in flavouring aimed at suiting the British palate .....such a shame!

We ate here twice. The pasta is homemade and beautifully cooked. The price is very reasonable and the waitresses so friendly and attentive. Tucked out away from main square but worth finding. The pork medallions were fantastic.
