We arrived without a reservation on the back of a family recommendation. The restaurant is on the street but the tables are set out in the square of a church which gives you some really nice views and atmosphere for the town. Despite being full, the kind servers asked us to wait 5 minutes and actually carried up a table and set it for us so we can dine.

The staff were impeccable - friendly, generous and to a very high standard. This reflected the food as well which was wonderful. The fresh pasta was one of the best I've had. In terms of value for money, it was well worth it.

The experience and atmosphere was very different which was very positive. I'd highly recommend for anyone visiting Majorca to come try this restaurant out in the evening.

At first sight this looked like an expensive restaurant with a charming sunlit terrace and nicely uniformed staff. We (family of five adults) stopped to look at the menu anyway and we were greeted by a very smart and friendly waitress who did not try to persuade us in. The menu was simple and reasonably priced so we were shown to a table of our choice on the terrace. Service was very prompt and professional and nicely informal. The food was all fresh and very nicely cooked and served promptly in good portions. The sweets were also fresh and beautifully cooked/baked. So five, two course dinners, bread and olives and five drinks including a half jug of sangria (not available by the glass here) came to 109 euro which, given the quality of the food and service and the location was really good value and undoubtedly the best of our holiday. Cantonet is certainly at the top of our list for another visit.

We went to Cantonet based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and think it matches the reviews pretty well. There were 4 adults and 2 children in our group and we arrived at 7pm when it opened. The terrace has limited views and doesn't get the sun in the evening but does give a nice open space for the kids to run around within a safe environment. On top of that the food was really good....not amazing but very tasty and very fresh. Overall I would recommend this place for groups of people rather than a romantic evening.

I very rarely write reviews of restaurants but this lovely little restaurant was worth us hunting out. We arrived at 6.30pm and much to our disappointment noticed it didn't open till 7pm. With a hungry toddler in tow we were deciding what to do when a waitress who was just starting her shift noticed us and welcomed us onto the terrace where we were able to look at the menu and order drinks whilst we waited. We were glad we did!! The food was delicious and by far the best meal we had had all holiday. All of the staff were friendly and went out of there way to ensure we were happy, and were great with our toddler too. Definitely the best service we had all holiday!

This is a lovely restaurant with a welcoming feel and charming staff. We ate dinner here on a slightly chilly evening May 2014. I had courgettes topped with a local cheese sauce to start, the local sausage-meat and honey ravioli to follow and chocolate cake for pudding. All beautifully presented and delightfully cooked/baked. We had a bottle of Mallorcan red wine which I would love to be able to remember the name of but cannot; which is a shame because it was a perfect accompaniment to the meal.
You can see into the kitchen from the restaurant if you chose your table carefully. The chef makes his own pasta and desserts.
There are a few good central restaurants in Pollenca and this is one of the nicest.
