We agree with the most recent very favourable reviews and we just wish we had tried El Moli on previous visits to the Pollensa area. My wife and I were so impressed with our first visit last Tuesday that we went back again later in the week with our daughter who'd come out to join us in Mallorca for a few days. The food is not ostentatious but it is perfectly cooked and very delicious. As others have said, the lunch menu is remarkable value: 3 courses, including two alternative mains, plus olives, bread, wine and water, all for 10 euros per person. Each table is already laid with a bottle of wine and a one and a half litre bottle of water, so a solo diner could get incredible value for his / her 10 euros. On both occasions we opted for the fish main course as we rarely have the opportunity to eat fresh fish and we were not disappointed: both the texture and the taste were just right. Both starters and desserts were equally good: we particularly liked the cheesy (?) creme caramels we had on the first visit. Most of the other customers were locals which is always a good sign and some were obviously regulars who appreciate both the quality and the value on offer. El Moli is exactly the kind of restaurant we like: unfussy, friendly and serving very good regional food at a bargain price. We seriously contemplated a third visit on Sunday, when the wider fare on offer costs 15 euros (but is still well worth it) but sadly we had too much to eat up in our apartment before departure the next day. We will go back again, though, on our next visit to the North of Mallorca later in the year.
