With a little thought, this hotel could be so much better. It's really a B&B, with a limited - and, for what it is, fairly expensive - dinner menu. It's a freindly, but amateur-feeling operation. We were there with only about half the rooms occupied - luckily! There are four pairs of sun-loungers round the small pool, so when the hotel is full, there could be problems.

Drinks are available via an honesty bar: one small and public inefficient fridge - which supplied cool, but not cold, drinks. Again, if the hotel was full, there would be no cold drinks available. There were no glasses, and no minibars in the rooms.

Breakfast was adequate, but not supposedly available until 9am, which, as it was 95% a buffet (eggs were available), was simply poor.

The hotel itself is in a lovely, quiet position, though the driveway up to it could do with some serious work. Despite the peace and tranquillity, there are better hotels in the immediate area for the same price. We wouldn't go back.

Our group of 4 used this guesthouse as home base for a week of cycling in April. Aside from the bumpy and rough access road which required us to walk our road bikes, it was superb. Just 5 km from Pollenca so no big deal. Helpful to have a car if you want to get out and about. Easy to drive on the island. Just take your time and be kind to the cyclists. We had two rooms with patios. The rooms were very comfortable, very clean and nicely appointed. Not big but certainly sufficient. Bobi and Adreanna are the resident staff people and I never saw them without a smile on their face or without a willing and enthusiastic attitude. Very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfasts were great - delicious, fresh buffet along with eggs prepared to our taste. We also had two meals in the guesthouse and they were really good. When we go back to Mallorca, we will return to Vall de Pollensa.

My partner and I spent a few days here, and we really loved it. The farm was so peaceful and the scenery was stunning. The breakfast was great, and the service even better. The staff go out of their way to make sure you're happy! It was also not as difficult to find as I would have thought -- it's only about 10 minutes from Pollenca. Forget the big resorts, stay here. You won't regret it.

My husband and I stayed at Vall for the last three nights of it's season (29th -31st Oct)
It was pretty, quiet and relaxing. We arrived by taxi from Palma in under 45 minutes but our driver was not very happy with the condition of the laneway up to the house. (there were large potholes).
Vall de Pollenca is a very beautiful, old building right in the country about 5 miles from Pollenca town. Our room was on the small side ( even though it was the second most expensive on offer) but had a very pleasant balcony. with a lovely view. My husband and I both found the bed very soft- of course, that is just personal preference.
The bathroom was fine, if a little dark, there was only one tiny bottle of shower gel provided for the 3 day stay and the towels were very, very worn.
We wanted to relax at the start of our holiday and because we were moving to Pollenca town for the second three nights of our trip, we wanted to eat at Vall rather than taxi it into town. The food was fine but we were not impressed by the same two items being on the menu for each of the three nights (lamb and squid) We understood that at the end of the season the evening menu would be limited, but our request of grilled chicken breast for the third night could not be met, so we took a taxi to Pollenca for dinner on our final evening.
Lunches were available (we only had lunch on one occasion as we were out walking most days) We were disappointed that our 8 euro per person ham and cheese sandwich was made with sliced white bread and processed cheese even though excellent bread and cheeses were available at breakfast.
Overall we would recommend Vall de Pollenca, it's a beautiful place and the staff and very friendly. With one or two small improvements this place could be absolutely amazing.

Vall de Pollensa is a small hotel / B&B at the foot of the mountains, a short and easy drive to Pollensa and several beaches. The house is very simple and rustic but stylish, there are several relaxation seating areas around the house, all feel private and each a little different. The pool is a perfect temparute to cool down when the sun becomes too much. The hotel is run by a very friendly and hospitable couple who also prepare the breakfast served on the patio. A fantastic place for a relaxing holiday and much recommended!
