I just recently stayed at this beautiful finca with my family (2 adults, 3 kids) for two weeks in July. Communication prior to our holiday was friendly, and everything was prepared for us just as requested. Since we had two bedrooms to spare, we invited one friend to stay with us in the first week and another family of four in the second week. This posed no problem and was accustomed for. All in all, our stay was perfect, I have nothing to complain about and can recommend this finca highly, even though the price may be a little on the high side.
The finca is located in a cul-de-sac off the main road between Pollenca and Port de Pollenca, nearer to the former. It offers a spectacular view of the Tramuntana hills in the background. The few neighbours are hardly noticed at all. It is within walking distance (5-10 minutes) of the two main supermarkets, Lidl and Eroski, which are right next to each other. Lidl comes in handy in the morning for breakfast, offering freshly baked croissants, breads and pastries, Eroski offering a nice selection of fresh fish.
The house itself is very tidy and decorated in detail with a personal touch. The kitchen is fully equipped with mostly new appliances, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery all in sufficient quantity. All three upper bedrooms have air condition units, which performed well and were quite a relief from the summer heat. Nothing to complain about in the bathrooms either.
The overall impression continues outside. The garden is kept up nicely, as is the pool. The pool gets cleaned every morning by the extremly nice caretaker, who lives right next to the house but succeeds in trying to keep invisible to the guests. The pool house houses the washing machine and has a toilet and shower as well. The outside grill is built under the roofed sitting area at the pool. Also worth mentioning, the finca comes along with a dog, Milou, and a cat, Baghira. They are trained not to go into the house, and the dog Milou is very friendly with children, all kids cuddled and played and absolutely fell in love with her.
One thing that was discussed once are the ants. Yes, there are ants on Mallorca and, surprise, they do not keep away from this finca,. But it is quite simple: be cleanly with anything edible lying on the floor, table or counter. A quick wipe or sweep with the broom and you will have no problem. And if you do forget then the ants will show you why you should not forget another time...!
