“Nice food, friendly service”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Return visit to this restaurant. Tasty food, friendly staff. Try the sea bass from the grill, and if you don't like the head / eyes looking up from the plate, the staff are more than happy to remove before serving.

“Nice, authentic restaurant.”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

We were looking for something more than another tapas restaurant and found this oe. It was not so far from Ca'an Isabel where we were staying and made a nice change from the same/same restaurants in the main square. The service was impeccable and the food good. Lovely fish and very delicious garlic mayo with bread as a starter. Ooops! Do try it, it is well worth the little walk.

“A truly fabulous family restaurant”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

We have visited this restaursnt on many occations and it has always been consistently good. Apart from being very friendly and away from the tourist hubbub the food is excellent, freshly cooked and nicely presented without the all too familiar master chef hallmarks!! A real must to try is the black rice piella and the slow cooked shoulder of lamb which melts like butter.

The owner and matre D is charming and friendly and it is his family who have owned this restaurant for generations, you can sit outside but this is on the pavement near to the road, but inside is bursting with character and is comfortable. We will be back next time!

“A great good value menu del dia”
Reviewed 7 May 2014 via mobile

We ate here and chose menu del dia - for 12 euros which included a glass of wine this was good value and perfectly acceptable quality- particularly good was the very simple desert of sliced orange with a honey and cinnamon juice- very simple but nice. Ambiance of the place when we went on a Tuesday lunchtime. Recommend.

“Terrible - go elsewhere!”
Reviewed 29 April 2014 via mobile

We went here on our last night in soller as the menu sounded interesting and authentic. The food was expensive enough but we didnt mind if it was good quality. HOWEVER it wasn't good at all in fact it was pretty terrible. The house wine tasted cheap and nasty (despite costing the same as decent house reds elsewhere) the bacalao was smothered in garlic mayo and grilled but the fish underneath didnt seem cooked through so my husband didnt eat much but less than two hours after getting back to our hotel he was violently sick. We would have gone back to the resturant to complain but we had to fly back today and it wasn't open in time.
Save your money and go elsewhere there are so many great places to eat in Soller... This isn't one of them!
