We ate here at lunch time and over the course of an hour and a half watched over a dozen people idle by, stare through the windows, etc. too scared to come inside. What a shame!

The food & presentation are fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable.

Do like the locals do: sit inside in the cool air con and choose from the most mouth-watering display of cold - and the hot ones too - small plates. Great music too.

Big selection of cold tapas available for self selection plus a range of hot dishes to order. Service can get a bit behind when it's really busy. Nice for a change.

If you go to Sóller this place should be number one on your restaurants to visit list. It's a little tapas place hidden away down a side street off the main square. There's actually two tapas bars down there but this one is by far the best. Great house wine. Definitely try the carillada (I think it's called "Iberian Cheek" on the English menu - less appetising! It's like a slow cooked meaty stew, absolutely delicious. Also try the ham board, which is great, and the solomillo Rockefeller. In fact, just try everything. There are some quite unusual tapas on the menu like won-tons and seafood tacos, and it's all so reasonably priced I'd say just try as much as you can! Also, the waiters we had on both occasions (yes, we went twice!) were absolutely lovely and really friendly. Five stars, loved it.

This is tapas with a twist. You can pick and choose from a cold tapas selection which is temptingly arrayed on a counter. There's also great hot tapas. Service is friendly, and coped well with us dithering pathetically over what we might want to eat. Particularly good were the pig's cheek (meltingly soft) and the patatas bravas ( a shamingly large portion of potato pieces, piled up like a Jenga tower, topped with the most delicious spicy mayonnaise). Sold!
